Carco Theatre is a small, cozy performing arts venue owned by the City of Renton and managed by Puget Sound Access. It is described as a hidden gem and a nurturing, professional space for independent film, children’s programs, and multicultural events. The theatre provides an adequate space for performances, with a huge stage and comfortable, spacious seats offering good leg room. There is not a bad seat in the house, contributing to an old school feeling. The venue has lots of parking, though spots are a tad small for larger vehicles. The lobby offers good space for concessions and gatherings. Some areas, like the stage lighting, seem old and dark, while the sound setup works well. The bathrooms can have long lines and small stalls. Overall, it is a clean, nice, and not bad little venue for community events and family shows.
