Cedar River Park is a well-maintained and scenic place, offering a variety of enjoyable features. Visitors can relax in the picnic areas, some of which are covered, or watch the river flow by. The park is very dog-friendly, with trails, grassy areas, and an off-leash fenced area where dogs can swim and run around freely. There are big waterslides and a playground for family fun. Clean restrooms are available, although some mention they are a bit far, about a mile walk. The park is generally peaceful and not crowded, making it a great spot to walk, bike, or spend time outdoors. It’s a popular place to relax, play, and enjoy nature.
The park itself is great, unfortunately drug usage, littering and overall suspicious activity is a problem which needs to be addressed by the city of Renton.

It's a nice trail. I come here sometimes to do the Parkrun. It's a free, timed 5k every Saturday at 9:00. I'm not even getting chased by a Sasquatch.
This morning I was pleased to see a couple of Renton police officers walking the trail. They are out there keeping people safe while they use the park.
