The store is very busy today. A long line at both the self-checkout and the cashier checkout lanes and especially the long line at the hot deli area. They need more check out lane open. I did shop there long.

The Fred Meyer on 72nd and Pacific Avenue in Tacoma the pharmacy is completely incompetent . I've been shopping there for 35 years and now I'm being told every other month come back tomorrow come back next week we don't have your prescription filled I have your doctor call back in we don't have enough for your prescription on a constant basis . I talked to the Regional Pharmacy manager Chuck he says they're having issues and apparently they're still having issues after 6 weeks ago of me talking with him... is there a three-star negative sign

It’s a great store to shop. Awesome selection and the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I wish the store security didn’t have to check my receipt, but I understand that this is a measure to reduce crime and to keep prices low! The security is very professional and I know they deal with a lot of people complaining about this simple measure.

Long lines confusing digital coupons and cashiers are kind of snippy and slow. There is no sense of customer service in the store at all. I've tried deliveries and pick up services and the order is always screwed up.

My checker was Peony on 12/19.She had a line a mile long-but was so kind and caring.I have not been shopping at this location for some time ,but choose to go to MV instead.Maybe because of great employees like her,I will give Benson another try.

Huge Fred Meyer store with lots of toys, clothing, and home goods. I'm mentioning the Glacier water refill machine, because I was looking for one and nothing came up. I hope this helps others find it! Btw it's at the big main entrance by Pet Pros.

I finally had a decent experience at this Fred Meyers tonight. The officers checking receipts were actually nice and the parking lot had good lighting. This Freddys used to be my go to store. If they keep this up, it might be again.

So, I have a lot of things to say and unpack here. As a customer who's shopped at Fred Meyer for years, I've noticed this location in particular, has the WORST customer service. They don't care about their customers AT ALL. They have terrible skills in customer service and NO professionalism whatsoever (Note: NOT all of them were rude and unprofessional. However, it doesn't change the fact that I've encountered more unfriendly employees who work here than those who ARE friendly). 1) The security guards (This is ONLY to the ones who have racial bias, NOT the ones who don't and are friendly) : First off, work on NOT racially profiling my autistic brother just because he's different from YOU. He's not bothering anyone or causing problems, so mind the business that pays you. You're here to do your job to protect customers, NOT treat people like garbage. It's so rude, ignorant, and unprofessional on your part. Also, other employees have done this as well, out of ignorance, and it's NOT OK. 2) The obese white male employee who works in the electronics and movies department (the one with really short, messy dark brown hair. NOT the white male employee with light brown, blondish hair with a long ponytail who also works that shift and wears glasses. He's WAYYYY nicer): My mother and I were considering buying ourselves some new Fitbits, and the way he gave us attitude for no reason was wrong on his part. He was nicer to the older white man in front of us with his groceries. But with us when we needed help with seeing the Fitbits, he had a nasty attitude. The way he snatched the Fitbits out of the box and was making those sighing noises and rolling his eyes at us. Yeah, that was not professional at all. He had the nerve talking to my mother crazy talking about "Read it!" while pointing to the sign talking to my mother crazy just because she didn't understand how the whole Black Friday deals worked. We were friendly and respectful and were NEVER RUDE. He was. He was so impatient and had NO regard for us as customers when we needed help with seeing the Fitbits. This employee needs to REALLY improve his skills in customer service. It's not right. 3) To ALL the RUDE EMPLOYEES at the self-checkout (This excludes the friendly professional ones who know how to do their JOB) : The employees need to stop fraternizing with each other like it's happy hour. Do your JOB and at least act like you care about the customers. STOP leaving people waiting, leaving the lights blinking at the machine when a customer needs help. While we've had some good experiences here and there (ONLY with the friendlier, more professional employees), it STILL doesn't change the fact that these people have been so RUDE to me and my family and even other customers. 4) The customer service on the phone: Work on your customer service on the phone line by actually being more available to customers and STOP transferring me to the meat department over and over again especially when I didn't ask to speak to the meat department. I don't understand that type of behavior AT ALL. With that being said, Fred Meyer needs to retrain their employees at this location on how to treat customers. It shouldn't be TOLERATED!!! I won't come back again, especially since they're known for racial profiling and racial bias towards black people specifically.

The good thing about this Fred Meyer was the large amount of self check out stations. Recently they made change and all the self check out stations suck, half the barcodes don't scan. If you get too close to where the bags are it pings the worker to come help you. Wouldn't be bad if the normal cashiers were faster than my grandma, but they are so slow. Checking out is half my time spent in the store.

Giving a 1 star become of the rude employee in the sea food section. The lady at the seafood section was being a jerk. I have had nice interactions with employees at the vegetables / cashier sections. But the ones at the seafood section need an attitude correction. Not sure what made her. Be prepared to get responses like“Are you gonna buy something?”“**Employees rolls eyes and storms off**” - when you ask them pick desired meats

Be prepared to wait in line for 20 minutes or more while the cashier takes forever and chit chats with the customers. Fred Meyer, shopping at your store is an experience in misery and frustration.

Located along Petrovitsky, this Freddy's is very accessible from any direction and has ample (though kind of disorganized) parking. I like their big selection of groceries and often find random unusual snacks that are difficult to find elsewhere. FYI - I noticed on my latest trip that they've increased security in the store, and a couple of uniformed guards were checking receipts at the exit like at Costco.
