Smaller hardware storw than Home Depot or Lowe's. I rotate here when I'm looking for something that the others don't have like better selection of screws and fasteners, bolts and washers, etc.

Update:Hoping to just get some hand pruners but for some reason the ones I wanted were in lock down. Oddly there were others not locked up that cost way more. So why? Especially if you have no one available to help you get them out of purgatory for me to be able to purchase. Every time I come here, I hope that it will get better. It is hit and miss and mostly miss. So now I had to head over to Home Depot. I bet they don’t have $30 pruners in lock down. I get it I hate theft too. Have more help in these areas then to help people or just keep them open so people can buy. It is frustrating and time wasting. Not worth it.Old review:This place used to be great and worth the extra price, however the last several times it seems like a different store. For instance, I came get to get a gallon of paint. The sign at the paint counter said, “back in one hour.” So I thought, an hour from when? Are they coming back in 60, 42, 15, or 2 minutes? I saw a woman talking with the security guard behind the counter. I wanted to ask her how long the actual wait was going to be since I don’t know when that sign was put up, but she didn’t acknowledge my existence after a solid couple minutes. So the sign said, “need immediate assistance? Go to customer service.” So I leave as I didn’t want to interrupt her break and chat to ask the question.I go to customer service and say I wanted to find out when the paint service are was going to be back open. “Oh yea she’s on break, did you want me to call her?” I said “ well I came here for paint and I guess I need to find out when she’s back.” She said “ I can get her if you want. “ I said I don’t want to interrupt but I came here for paint. Should I come back.” SooooSo she calls her back. Sounded like she was done with lunch (or not) who knows. But now she’s acknowledging my existence and offers to mix paint for me. Shes pleasant and attempts to help.Turns out they don’t have the base needed for the color in stock. So I didn’t get paint after all that.Be back at (specific time) vs be back in a an hour (which one would help your customer that didn’tsee you leave for lunch more?If someone’s asking for the paint department and the sign in the paint dept says to go to customer service for assistance, don’t ask me if I should call her from lunch or break. It should be assumed that in need assistance. Of course I need assistance. Either say you can’t help me or find someone who can.Keep items in stock. It was a wasted trip.

We started from the outside and we as a trio were looking for a special memento for a fallen hero who did beyond for this community! We met alot of nice people along the way and even a few employees who said they would send someone to help us because they were from another department but no one ever came to help us.We ended up going further into the outdoor section of the garden area where still no employees were and we looked through more selections until we decided on a product. I went inside the actual store to see if we could get help in lifting the merchandise into the cart and no one helped us. The store was not busy at all!When we waited our turn to goto the register to pay the female clerk told us she would goto lunch after she finished ringing up the person that was in front of us so we had to wait yet again for someone to take their sweet time to help us. Why have a store if your going to act like your customers are bothering you.

The man that works on the in-service counter name shawn is absolutely rude! Talked to me as if I was stupid for asking questions a out my project, he has no customer service skills and made me feel very uncomfortable..8ll go to Lowes next time sheese

I got a ton of help from miss Kelly today, she helped locate parts for a kitchen fan I am replacing and have not been able to find and shared a recipe to clean the mount to replace the fan. Thank you miss Kelly

Used to be a great hardware store but some changes have occurred. The last 3 times I have comparison shopped between here and the major chains McLendon is 300% or more expensive, and they seem to be losing the knowledgeable staff to competitors.The taco truck is great though!
