They need to insist employees shower and wash their clothes. I could not breathe while getting checked out at the register because of terrible body stench of the cashier. This is unacceptable.

Lizzie was great with my dog Clover. She had a lot of great advice on how to help her through her anxiety. She was such a great resource when I was first learning how to take care of a new puppy!

I got Griswald about two months ago, he’s a beautiful German Shepherd/Husky Mix.
My first week with him was awful; he nipped at two of my friends and growled at everyone. I had serious reservations and thought seriously about taking him back many times the first two weeks.
Lizzie Gould, a trainer at Petco, said she would help train him in private lessons and help him be a better dog.
Two months later and he is gold!!
She was patient and answered all my questions and helped me get him to being a truly great dog.
What a turn around!
She’s terrific. If you’re thinking of training your dog and need some help, check her out!
Also, a huge shout out to ALL the employees of the Renton store. They were all super, and honestly were a huge support, listening to my problems and also helped to socialize Griswald when I would frequently bring him in to say hi, which was many times a week.
The store manager, Rebecca, has been especially supportive and helpful.
Griswald continues to mature and get better and better! It was great to have these folks support me through a very difficult period and help Griswald find the great dog within himself!

The young woman at the register worked to help answer the request. I waited my turn patiently twice. The woman filling the treats area ignored customers and so did the guy - not sure of his title.
What a waste of time and my time is of value because life is short. Also, don't say it is staffing. The Interbay Petco gives good customer service with their short staffing.
I will go to PetSmart at The Landing from now on.

GROOMING REVIEW. If you ever had a relationship with any other Petco grooming salon and want to keep that, don’t ever come here. They are racist here. My dog weighed 40 lbs and they put her in the system as 80 to charge me extra. Extremely dishonest. They didn’t like being questioned, so they blacklisted me from every Petco, and claimed my dog was “unsafe.” That’s an interesting story seeing that every other Petco groomer at other locations wanted to be my dogs regular groomer.

The employees here are knowledgeable about the animals they have in the store, which isn't always the case for this chain, so that's a huge boon. They keep the place clean and are prompt when customers come in. The squeaky you to beckon them is the best part.

Excellent Groomer and Customer Service provided. This was the fastest booking of a groomer that I've ever experienced which was less than 3 days. Bear my dog looks perfect and she was able to get his feet or trim his nails which he hates but it was done. 100/100

Store manager was super helping us find the items we came to the store to get and suggesting items that we didn't know were on sale. Store was really clean and well organized.

Don’t waste your time here. There business practices are so bad. I was receiving texts messages until the time of my appointment that we look forward to seeing your pet. At 10 o’clock I get a message when I’m in the parking lot that my groomer wasn’t coming in today. No apology when I talked to the manager, nothing just extremely rude. I planned this from last week. Drove 30 miles and get a text at exactly the time of my appointment. I’m so upset with this bad practice. Don’t come here they don’t value their customers time at all.

Friendly staff, who helped me identify cat food for my very picky eater. They also updated my account since I couldn’t remember my number associated with Petco. They are an awesome team with solid recommendations.
