Buggy apps and lacking customer service. Solar loan rates are pretty good, but be careful. If there is a delay in your project and you miss the draw window for the loan, you may be SOL like me -.-

I really like PSCCU. I have had an account with them for over 40 years. The staff have always been great to work with.

I haven't stepped foot in a bank in almost a year. Due to a mobile app issue I went into this location. Only 2 of the 8-10 employees in this facility were masked, including one unmasked woman at the desk closest to the door. The staff advised me only tellers had to wear them. As a healthcare worker, my anxiety spiked because we are at an all time high of infections in this country and to not care about my safety or their own employees for the sake of comfort is insulting. I spoke with the manager about why I will now be closing my account ( I will never willingly walk into a business unmasked) and she said they were fine, they were socially distancing in one shared room indoors. With 235,000 deaths and counting, y'all should probably take this seriously. As serious as I was about getting my money out of your hands!Stay safe, tellers! You're amazing!

PSCCU was not very straight forward about the Green Loan. I do not recommend this at all if you ever plan to refinance your house. They stuck a lien on the equipment therefore hindering our refinance. This Lien caused a higher interest rate costing us thousands over the life of the loan. I recommend a HELOC or personal loan rather than a green loan for home improvements.

I wish I never did business with this company. Word of advise: you’ll never be able to refinance your house again if you take on one of they’re energy efficient home loans. They’ll lean your house and your done.

At the recommendation of our heating and air conditioning contractor we applied for an energy smart loan with PSCCU and in two days we had approval, and at a very competitive interest rate. Robyn was very helpful and efficient. An asset to our community.

I have had 2 smart energy loans with this credit union. I paid by bill pay to the address of the office that I took out the loan at. Everything went smooth both times. I did find several times that they did not apply the money to the loan properly. An example of what happened. My loan payment was $250. I would send $300 with memo saying smart energy loan + principal only. They would make the payment and put $50 in my checking account. With this exception they were great to deal with.

This PSCCU location is right on the corner of South 177th St and Talbot Rd South, across the street from the UW Medicine building. Google maps may trick you and tell you to turn too soon (if you're coming from the north on Talbot) but go one driveway past where Google Maps says to turn and it's right there on the corner.
