I'm not a patient at this clinic or the clinic in the same building called Traditional Family Health Care, but I had a very unpleasant experience with the two older women at the reception desk this afternoon. Google Maps led me to this Renton Family Practice, which apparently is not the correct location. I came into this specific clinic and I asked where I could get a COVID test (the reason for my visit). The woman sitting at the reception area said, "We don't do that here...you're talking about the clinic (with the exact same name!) on Talbot." She then asked me if I was wanting to see if I wanted to be tested to see if I had COVID (violation of privacy policy, now that I think about it) and I said yes. The lady at the reception then said "We don't do that test here, so you're gonna have to leave this building..." then There was another lady who was standing at the reception listening to this interaction, and she open the door and literally threw me out of the building. She couldn't have kicked me out any faster! This happened in front of their patients at the lobby and I felt humiliated and treated like a leper with a disease. It's unfortunate that this is how these two women who are supposedly in the healthcare industry treat people seeking care. The lady who showed me the door then came out as I was taking a picture of their building, and she said, "It's not personal, we have a lot of patients in the lobby..." And I just said "You are very, very rude!!!" Whoever manages this clinic needs to evaluate who they put at the front desk to greet people coming into their clinic and to represent their clinic.
