There is a reason why this pharmacy is so low scored. Their services is slow and their staff isnt helpful. After waiting 45 min for a prescription being first customer in line when they opened, they refused my sons insurance and refused to check with the provider arguing their system is different from Walgreens or cvs where they actually have done it for us before when needed. Had to pay at the end because the urgency i had. Never will use them again.

Went to get flu shot they refused to do it for my family first because they didn't have enough staff, then he said no walk ups, then they couldn't find my insurance. I picked up the day before and specifically asked about the shots and what time to come. The pharmacist is lazy, rude, and a liar. 11/22 @ 7pmI've been thinking I should change pharmacy due to the long wait times and rudeness when picking up, this was the last time I will put up with terrible service. Safeway shouldn't have the pharmacy hours as open if they are unwilling to do the work.

Dangerously unorganized. We were given only a portion of the prescription for an infection. This was realized when we took the first of five doses that we only received two. We confirmed with our provider this was an error on this pharmacy’s part. When we returned to retrieve the remaining doses of the medication we were turned away due to a pharmacist not being available. Upon returning, I stood. First in line. Plainly visible and waiting to be helped. Listening to the phone ring and ring as the three technicians let the call go to voicemail. A voicemail that does not accept messages but tells you to hang up and call back. The person at the computer closest to me pretended not to see me as long as they could. Regardless of making eye contact multiple times. Once helped I’m told they have the medication ready along with the additional ones added. Now they are unable to process it through my insurance (valid and current) but they can offer the medication at a discount. Two of the three medications were refills. No change to insurance. Dose etc. but now I’m being charged. So here we are on the third day of not getting what we were prescribed. The original prescription was for an infection. This put my child at risk due to this pharmacy’s lack of organization and professionalism.

Bad service! Her name is Simran Bulentt.She is so rude! Managers can check the camera on Sunday at 11:40—> 11:47!She is not qualified to serve in the medical profession if she still maintains that attitude and way of talking to patients!Peace!!!!

#1 on Friday they were 'out of Predisone' said they would have it Monday, I didn't receive a notification on Monday so went in Tuesday and was told that they did not have any yet maybe I could try back after 4 pm heavy on the maybe.#2 the girl running the register has the personality of a criss between a turnip and a rudebaker

I love this pharmacy. I switched my family to here bcuz our last pharmacy was not ok anymore. I read the other reviews n I just know that if those people go anywhere else they will understand how blessed they are to have safeway pharmacy. Really. Walgreens, bartells....go ahead, see how happy u are there. I ran from there and now am very thankful to be at safeway.

I have tried to like this pharmacy over the years but the service just gets worse every time. Long lines, rude employees, delays with prescriptions, system issues, etc. it's frustrating when the staff act like they are doing you a favor and have no intention of providing good service. Safeway should be ashamed of themselves.

I've been going to this pharmacy for years! Up until this year they were alright. But for the past several months they have been the most unprofessional, unpleasant, and uncaring pharmacy I've ever been too! The medicine I take you can't go without! They have on several occasions put me in a position to go without!! I get very sick and miss work!! The best thing safeway can do is just shut them down!!

Do not recommend. Like many retail pharmacies, they’re short staffed, which is unfortunate and not the fault of the employees. But subsequently they’re completely unresponsive via phone (tried a dozen times w no pickup), didn’t notify me when my drug was unavailable and kept telling me it’ll arrive shortly when it never did (ultimately had to find the drug elsewhere), and I’ve been trying to get my prescriptions transferred to another pharmacy but they’ve also been unable to reach anyone at Safeway. So I’ll be calling my doctors to have new prescriptions sent elsewhere and won’t be returning here again.

1) Their notification system doesn't work. Have to go in person to check on the order status and most of the time it's not ready. 2) There have a very rude person who should not work any customer facing roles.Sadly there aren't many choices in this area.

The service here has degraded in last 2-3 years. The staff never responds to calls or message about prescription when its ready. Multiple times I have been here to pick up prescription which is never ready on time. They don’t pick calls or callback to let you know if the prescription is ready.Always understaffed and at time I have seen one person managing the counter, orders, phone, walk-ins, so if you are in queue, you may just have to wait.Such a waste of time. I guess switching pharmacy is prolly best.

This place is inhumane, stay away! I came with a prescription for my dad who was in pain. Told to come back next day. Came next day, waited 25 min in line and was told to come back in 30 min to pick it up. After waiting another 40 min in line I was told that the medicine is not in stock! No apologies, nothing. They should lose their license and just shut down.

The worst pharmacy. They never pick up the phone and my prescription is on auto-ship yet I have to call every month to have it shipped…useless. Changing pharmacies.
