Went to U-Haul to pick up some shipping boxes. The gentleman at the register was friendly and efficient. They have a nice selection of packing and shipping supplies. Worth the drive from Issaquah.

This place is SHADY. Rented a trailer on 10/1. We only needed it for a couple of hours and were told we could return it after hours. They even provided us with a link to mobile check in, so that we won't be liable for it if it got stolen from their lot or something. 5 days later we were charged over $100. My boyfriend called and he was told we were charged for TWO DAYS. That they needed to "investigate" and possibly a refund within 72 hours. I called them since I made the reservation and the lady who answered the phone was RUDE. Rude AF. She was snarky af. She kept saying she couldn't tell me anything even though I was the one that made the reservation and that she can only tell my bf why he was double charged. I got him on the phone and she put us on hold. Go figure. She got back and said she could refund the other half but pretty much told us we weren't supposed drop it off after hours because of a tragedy that once happened to another family. She said she wasn't supposed to be doing this but as a favor she will be refunding the other day???? Sorry but your employees provided us with a link to drop it off after hours why would we get penalized for dropping it off after hours??? "You can if you have to but you're not supposed to" was her reply and it made no sense. K thanks

We had an absolutely terrific experience at this UHaul location. Walked in, had our truck and were on the road within about ten minutes with a great experience.We were handled by the General Manager, herself. And experienced excellent customer service as she checked us in and showed us the truck. The truck was clean and perfect for what we needed! We even got a nice discount and extra miles for dropping the truck in different location than originally contracted that worked even better for us. I see other people having difficulties. We have had absolute nightmare experiences in the past with Budget. But this experience with UHaul was one of the best business transactions we have had. We did our homework and uploaded all of information before arriving, maybe that's why we had such a good experience. But our experience with this UHaul and the general manager, Ms. Williams could not have been better.Thanks so much for helping us with a project we've been wanting to get done for a very long time! Everything was excellent!

The WORST. We had a "guaranteed" reservation for a truck and they called us two days before and said the people before refused to bring it back, so it would be a 1pm pick up instead of 8am. Annoying, but whatever. Then, at 9pm the night before, they called me and said the truck "was down for maintenance" and they had nothing for me unless I went to EASTERN WASHINGTON to pick it up. So, drive like 6 hours round trip to pick up a truck? Basically they screwed us over so badly and now we have to move with NO TRUCK. Avoid at ALL COSTS.

Avoid at all cost. Abusive staff, seems to hate customers. Manager bullies customers and employees. Toxic, extremely unfriendly store.

Short Summary. Better find another place for your hitch install. Bad customer service and incompetent. Failed to notify me part not ready, lost my exhaust pipe hanger in the install and cannot follow the wiring instructions.First when I scheduled the hitch install and went there, only to know my parts is not ready and that the General Manager is not their and GM will call me back tomorrow to reschedule. Waste 1 hour both ways + fuels. Someone could have notified me the day before.And then no one called me back. I called them twice and each time they told me GM will call me tomorrow to reschedule. Not happening. So I end up call uhual help line and the corp person found out due to system glitch the parts was never shipped out. So I asked to reschedule to another place for install as I already lost faith in Uhual renton storage. Unfornately the part can only be ship to same place and I need to call another department to reschedule. I tried twice and never succeed reaching the other department so I give up. I should have keep trying.The day before the second scheduled appointment I called them and confirmed the parts are ready and I am good to go. I appreciate the person who checked it for me.Finally on the day of hitch installation. I was told it should take about 1 hr and 30 minutes. However it took more than 3 hours. The reason was there was some issue with the wiring part. The tech is nice to let me know the issue and he went to another store to find a replacement part. But the replacement part is also not working so the tech suspect it is some issue with my van. And he gave the wiring instruction to me and asked me to go to the dealer to check. The moment I drive out of the UHual storage of renton I noticed some funny noises. Turned out I was driving with a exhaust pipe hanging around and touching the ground from time to time for 50 miles (went to another place before reaching home). After coming back at home, I found one of my exhaust pipe hanger is missing and another in the middle is not attched, and that's where the noise is coming from. I have no evidence that this is caused by hitch installation. Maybe the tech took them off to install the hitch and forget to put them back, maybe because he is busy with the wiring issue. I'll just say, what a coincidence this happened right after the hitch installation. Also the wiring issue? the instruction clearly said "install two 7.5 amps fuse into position #2 & #11", while those two fuses are actually installed to position #10 & #11.Anyway I appreciate the tech's effort in getting another wiring part from another store and his kindness to gave the wiring instruction sheet to me.
