Long is very easygoing and honest about what you need for your repairs. He doesn't inflate prices or do unnecessary work. I don't trust my car with anyone else.

I had a wonderful experience here with Long. I got a quote from another place to repair my brakes but Long provided a better rate and greater flexibility in getting it done! I can be nervous going into vehicle service appointments because I'm non binary and don't know that much about cars. I felt so well taken care of and will go back here for any issues I have. Long is running a fabulous business that I will recommend to all of my friends!

I was referred to Tran Auto from my sister. Long has always done an excellent work on all of my cars. He's fast and reliable and always reasonably priced. I completely recommend him without hesitation.

Long has been a great mechanic for me throughout the years. He's very honest and does quality work at a reasonable price. He's open on Saturdays also which is nice since it's hard for me to get my car in during the week with work. He's been very helpful & always polite when interacting. Would recommend & I will keep using his services for my vehicles.

My 2005 Camry had been making some new engine noises the last week so I was looking for an auto repair shop near me. I honestly randomly found this place and decided to come here because of all the reviews that said Long is really honest. I was able to bring my car in the day after I called. It's pretty casual. Long said to stop by between 9am and 1pm. I dropped by at 930am and parked in front. He stopped what he was doing to take a look at my car. I turned it on and within seconds he knew that it was a water pump failure. He also suggested replacing the belt as well because it was old. A quick Google search showed that the price I was quoted was within the expected range so I said yes.A few hours later my car was done! Water pump, serpentine belt, and a coolant flush. I did check online to make sure all of these items were necessary and that I wasn't being upsold and it checked out. The only surprise on the bill was a $25 supplies and hazardous materials charge. My car engine is no longer making weird noises and Long said to bring it back to him if I do have issues and he'll take another look! Update 11/14: Car is still staying silent. It looks like he did diagnose/fix the correct issue.

My car brakes were squeaking the past few weeks. I took it to goodyear and they said my brakes were fine and it was a brake dust issue. Took it to Les Schwab for a second opinion and told me the brakes were less than 2 mm and needed to be replaced. The service was great but would cost over $600. Decided to check out Tran Auto Repair from Khangs Review and it was definitely worth it. Saved over $200 and the owner is awesome. Got my car taken care of by the next day and showed me everything he did.

Long has fixed both of our cars several times, and we couldn't be happier with his service. He does very solid work and quickly at that. Additionally, he is very honest which is very rare in this field. He is our first stop anytime we experience car trouble.

Needed brakes and rotors replaced on the rear. Went to Les Schwab and they quoted me at $600+!! Went to Tran and he did my rear brakes, rotors, and an oil change all for $500. Definitely saved myself $100+ dollars and he got me in the day after I called. Definitely recommend!

I brought my original owner 2004 Honda Accord into Trans Auto Repair for a potential fuel pump issue as they had done the brakes before and did a very nice job. With this issue, I did my own novice analysis of the problem (the car engine would turn over but not start and the fuel gage showed completely empty when I knew there was at least a half tank behind a locked gas cap fill door), I assumed something in the fuel system either a fuse or fuel pump. Long looked at everything and found a varmint had eaten a part of the wiring. Now to the good part. Instead of automatically getting a really expensive new wire harness, he was able to find one in the junk yard which was totally in good condition and completely reliable and completed the repair for about 25% of what a dealer would have charged. That's the kind of customer first service we all hope to get.
