Extremely Disappointing Experience – Unsafe and Poorly Managed
I had a very frustrating and disappointing experience at this location. The parking situation is a complete disaster — customers are literally trapped, with no room to park or exit safely. It’s not just inconvenient; it’s a serious safety issue.
When I brought this to the attention of Manager Cristina, she was incredibly rude and dismissive. Instead of addressing the concern, she told me it was private property and that I didn’t know what I was talking about — and then actually told me to be quiet. I was shocked by her unprofessionalism and lack of basic customer service.
To make matters worse, it was suggested I drive my Escalade over the curb to get out. SMH That kind of response is unacceptable and reckless. Thankfully, I was with my elderly father at the time, otherwise, I might have responded differently to the level of disrespect I received.
This place is poorly managed, unsafe, and not worth anyone’s time or business. I won’t be returning — and I’d advise others to avoid it as well.

They don’t notice customers walking in and keep looking at their terminals. After 10min wait guy tells me he can’t fill 1 20lb tank of propane because they close in 10mins. Well I’m still in the door and it’s not closing time yet. And it takes less than 10mins to fill 1 tank.
People here don’t want to serve customers! Just don’t go here. They will either change the staff or shutdown this place.

We waited at least 20 minutes in the lobby for assistance. Outside there appeared to be a lot of employees who were extremely busy. The place seems understaffed. I'll have to come back on another day, hopefully it won't be as bad. Maybe I'll be able to speak to the manager on Monday...

It was at least 25 minutes before I was able to talk to someone who worked here. Everyone was very busy they obviously need more staff as well as their stockroom through the cameras looked very disorganized and messy and when I asked about the manager I was told the manager left at 11:00 a.m. today and she would not be back until Tuesday. I needed to rent a trailer before Memorial Day, I would not recommend this location and the manager is extremely hard to get ahold of, the employees were extremely nice just very overworked.

Door was open still helping customers they said they close at 5 if your closed at 5 close the doors kick your customers out

Friendly Staff and immediate attention upon walking in. The lady that helped me explained everything to me clearly & was so Chill and made me feel right at home. They definitely will be the store that I rent my enclosed trailer from & I will have them help me set up my Storage in Arizona with U-Haul .U-Haul is like family to me know thanks to This Specific store & the Amazing Team !! Thank

Have you walked into a business before and gotten a vibe that says "we wish you weren't here"? That's the vibe in this store. You are treated like an inconvenience to their already-messed-up day. I'll drive across town to the another location from now on. As a side note, I was renting a car trailer and they wanted to know what type of car was going on the trailer. Fair enough. But then they "needed" to know whether it had a 4- of 6-cylinder engine. Really? They would not rent the trailer to me without an answer, so I told them to put down whichever one made them happy, if anything could.

UHaul of Renton Highlands refused to honor the pricing I had from an online hitch order. I had the paperwork with me and showed the clerk the pricing that was promised but the clerk said it didn't match his so, tough. When I asked to talk to his manager, he said she left early and there was nobody else available. I won't be doing business with them again.

This place is a joke, don't waste your time. I showed up to pick up a car dolly that I had reserved and I was in a rush, they took the time to sit me down charge my card and do all the paperwork and then went out and proceeded to hook up the car dolly, safety chains wiring and everything and proceeded to tell me the tongue was too high or my truck was too high even though I had a 12-inch drop hitch. I wound up down at the location on Rainier, in and out of there no problem. As you can see from my photos, I have 19 inches to the top of my tow ball and that is not extreme for abnormal at all.
