This summer, I went on a ton of adventures with my kids. BBR was the most fun! Literally everything you need in the middle of peace and serenity. We stayed in cabin 10, which had not been remodeled yet. Quaint, great view, and wifi!We rarely used our devices anyway, but it was nice to have as our cabin didn't have a TV. I brought my laptop, knowing that in advance for a movie before bed. This is family owned, and I will be back every year now. Thanks, BBR, for sharing your property so we can have the best memories. My son loved finding painted rocks every a.m.

Cabins are fresh and clean, the AC was inadequate for the space. Nice location with a pretty setting. Camp store for forgotten necessities and ice, etc. There's a small beach area with lots of children. It seems to be more of a family fun than quiet getaway kind of place.

Spent the weekend here, drive up thru Sherman pass was beautiful. Hit fire smoke on the way in, pretty bad. Room was comfy especially the bed, best night sleep long time. Husband rented a boat and fished all day, I stayed in room and caught up on sleep and read a book. They have bikes to use for free, swimming for the kiddos. View is spectacular. Lots of new upgrades couldn't care less that their was no TV in room. Had fun!Food & drinks: Great food down the road.

They're in the process of upgrading the rooms, the upgraded rooms are fantastic and have a wonderful price! The staff is so friendly. Every day, painted rocks are hidden for kids to find. When the kids find them, they can be returned for a piece of candy. They have kids and adult bikes available for free, a fun addition to camping and swimming! Kayak and boat rentals are extremely affordable! We absolutely loved our stay, we will be back!

We stayed a Black Beach RV park as a result of our reservations at the local State Park were canceled, last minute, do to a water availability problem. I mean the day of our scheduled arrival we were canceled. Black beach had space available for us and our two friends in side by side by side spaces, with full hook-ups, ample room and very clean. Easy access to the lake for launching the kayaks and a large grass field for viewing the lake action. Several modern boat slips and fishing piers. Nice ramp and even small pontoon boat rental. If I must mention a problem, it's only the severity of the slope for setting up the RV's on the 3 sites we were given. About 6" low in the front. All else was super, even the well stocked camp store. We all would come back and stay again.

I cannot give this place enough stars. We stayed from 06/22 to 06/25. Our truck broke down at the top of Sherman pass. We had two of our kids and our 36 foot camper trailer. No phone service, miles from anything. A lot of locals stopped to check on us but one particular couple stopped and drove my husband to town, got a code reader and came back with a truck to tow us our trailer to this wonderful resort. I limped my truck to the resort while Jenny (the girlfriend) followed me into town to make sure my truck made it. My husband rode with her boyfriend Steve. When we got there I was greeted by mrs miller who was the absolutely sweetest person to see after a very stressful 3 hours. She was so accommodating and caring. We had a perfect camp site with amazing people around us. We met another couple Carrie and Richard who welcomed us and helped us hitch our trailer to my father in laws truck. I thought j could get the stupid truck back to Spokane but couldn’t and mrs. Miller let me leave my truck at the campground. So I could figure out a tow once I got home. She was sooo nice about it and even provided me with a hug and a reminder that we’ll figure it and it will be okay. I wouldn’t have wanted to spend a weekend with a broken down truck anywhere else, honestly I kinda just wanted to go home. But the people of this town are nothing but amazing and this resort reflects that. They made a trip that was really bad amazing .the campground Is clean, and quiet but not so quiet you feel weird enjoying a fire into the later hours of the night. Shower houses are clean. Grass well groomed.trailer spots are well sized. We had a lot of trouble with everything but the campground! the experience here made everything okay. I recommend staying here. I promise you’ll love it.

Went into the main shop there and was treated with much respect. Loved talking with the woman running it. What a nice operation they have going there!Nearby activities: Fishing on Curlew lake is a must! Or rent a boat or paddle boards!Dig fossils in Republic or admire the epic prairie wildflower and wildlife abundant nearby.

Definitely will return! We were there for one night, 5/4/23.Our plan was to arrive at Fisherman's Cove Resort and spend from Thurs thru Sun. We arrived to Fisherman's Cove about 7:30pm Thurs eve. The owner, Sandy, was right there to inform us that unfortunately, their water pump wasn’t working. She had tried to reach us but we were out of cell service while traveling. It’s a good thing, because this place is a GEM! She had already arranged for a cabin on the same lake at a different resort, Black Beach. The owner of Black Beach, Eric, was super accommodating. Their cabins are amazing too!! Sandy did not charge us for Thurs night, and the cabin at Black Beach was taken care of for us, at no charge. I later learned that Eric refused payment from Sandy too!My husband and I had never been to either of these places. Not knowing what the other place was like, it was a really hard decision to stay at Black Beach or continue with the plan. The cabin was new. Very clean, well stocked with essentials, and well adorned. Very tasteful and definitely a cozy cabin feel! Bed was super comfortable! We had an unobstructed wide view of the lake while sitting on the covered front patio during a thunderstorm. It was heaven!I didn't get any pics!

We stopped by to check out the area. The prices were spot on! Their website is very easy and mobile friendly as well (Butter In The Pan is my digital marketing small business, and boy, you already know how important a smooth website is).My dogs and I stopped in to check it all out, and we decided to find another site for us only out of respect for the other guests. (My two pups are the occasional random barkers, and seems like a few parents enjoying that time of year when older children are going back to uni). Will be back for sure. The woman I spoke with as well was super nice, and gave me some helpful advice about the area. One last note: they really work hard to maintain a clean space (and their efforts are so appreciated). Please pick up after your pups here, especially because they do put in the effort to keep a clean space.Thank you for letting us chill for a couple of hours to walk the trail a little.

Great resort right on beautiful Curlew Lake. Perfect area to walk by the lake and see wildlife. It was fun to get out on the gorgeous lake in the pontoon boats. Fish were jumping and we watched eagles and loons and deer. The owners are super friendly and helpful. We had a fantastic vacation at BBR and I can’t wait to come back.

I love this place, I visited last fall and I am excited to return. The newly built cabin we stayed in was above and beyond what I expected. Lots of wild life and an adorable downtown area for dinner. I can't wait to return.
