The issue we have with Chase today is that they put a 5 day hold on my husband's pay check. The way the holidays fall this year, that means 5 business days puts us not having access to money, being able to buy food and diapers for our children, much less pay our rent and other bills, until January 2nd. HE DEPOSITED THE PAPER CHECK ON DECEMBER 20TH. The teller who took the check deposit didn't inform him of the hold either, so he had no opportunity to just take it into the bank it's issued from, US Bank, and have it cashed immediately without any fees. He went into the branch this morning to have this resolved as it's literally his weekly payroll check. The teller was nice, but had no ability to do anything to fix the situation. She gave him a number to call after saying that, yeah, that is a really long hold. Mind you, this is a weekly payroll check that gets deposited 52 times a year. When my husband called the number, it informed him that there would be a 50 minute wait. He's waiting. I'm so upset right now. How are we going to feed our babies when we apparently have no access to my husband's hard-earned money.
Update: they released the money to us. I don't blame the employees. But the corporate policies in place are harmful to families like us that live paycheck to paycheck and entrust our money to them.

I went into both Chase banks today in attempt to open three accounts. Business and personal. First the Chase bank in Queensgate has no bankers and no one can open an account. So I drive to the Chase bank on Jadwin. Come to find out there are only two bankers for all the Chase facilities in the Tri-Cities. I told the tell what I would like to do and she informed me that I would have to schedule an appointment. How is this customer service? How is this good business?

In comparison to other banks CHASE stands out on top. I tried leaving Chase twice only to expect better or the same customer service and well it gets way worse out there. Stay with Chase people!!(:

Had issues with their Property Loan Officer (Neil Asmund). I made a formal complaint about him to their Chase Twitter Support account and switched lenders. I thought that was the end of it.Low and behold I later hear from my realtor that the buyer of my house is having issues with his loan officer...the loan officer is refusing to communicate with my realtors. Guess who the loan officer is for my buyer?Neil Asmund.His supervisor (Jen Cheung) must be out on vacation because she won't return our phone calls or emails.I have no other recourse but to start kicking up dust about it... him refusing to communicate with my realtors is childish, petty, unprofessional and is costing everyone time and money (my seller will have to extend their property buy as well as my buyer and I will also have to extend all our contracts to close later).I hope someone in management reads this and reaches out to contact me to resolve this ASAP.

This bank allowed a scammer to charge me 175.00 and did nothing to help me. I am still fighting the charge. Worst bank in my opinion.

Beware if you choose an account with this bank!!! Tried to make a payment on my furnture using my debit card and it wouldn't allow it. Each month I had to go in and take cash out and then make a payment. Waste of time!! NEXT I made a large payment to my credit card to pay off and after a 7 day hold Chase kicks it back!! Money was sitting in my account the whole time!!! I go in to close my account and the supervisor says "oh if you want to make the payment again I can approve it." Wtf?! Yeah ok!! After paying $30 of extra interest charges on this credit card after the payment bounced!!! Chase going to reimburse me that $30?? Nope!! Closed my account and went with Gesa.
