Im a male from Mississippi here working. Since I work in construction I generally get a pedicure every few months for hygiene purposes. This is the first place I tried since its close to where Im staying. I don't know if it's because I'm a man or if this is the norm but it was absolutely terrible in comparison to what Im used to. The lady barely did anything effectively. She barely Exfoliated my feet Which is one of the main reasons I came. Left my nails jagged. Literally rushed through the whole process as if she was frustrated that I was even there... and she seemed just ready to go. There was not a single individual in there on a Saturday at peak times. That should have been my red flag but I was thrilled To be able to walk right in. Now I know why it was empty while the other two places I was going to go were packed. I usually don't post reviews unless i'm highly satisfied or gravely disappointed. Im sure you know which one I am with this place. Hopefully they were just having a bad day and just ready to go home.

ALL instruments are sterilized here. I have been having mani and pedi services here for years. Any claim that equipment is not sterilized is nonsense.
Cathy does a great job, so does her husband. It’s a quiet relaxing place to go. I can often drop in and get my services right away.
Really nice people.

I just watched her use the same nail clippers, cuticle cutters, nail file and more on me and the next person. She didn't sanitize a single thing! Most places I've been to have sanitized packs they open for each person.

Such a great place for manicures and pedicures. I had wanted a quick manicure before heading off for a family reunion, and time was a bit tight. The service was some of the best I've seen in tri-cities! The staff not only gave me some recommendations but also got me seated very fast. The quality of the polishes is also great. Def coming back! :)

I got a pedi & mani. I chose gel & my nails look great! They took their time & didn’t rush through it. I accidentally chipped my nail a day later & I went in & they quickly fixed it for me! I’ll be back for sure!

I needed to come in right away, I called and they told me a good time to come in. I came in early but they sat me down at the time they gave me. I was pleased with my appointment! I just needed some gel polish removed, nothing elaborate. They teamed up and got it done quickly! I hope the tip I gave them was enough because now that I’m home I wish I have given them more. Though, my appointment was only, maybe, 15 minutes. I am happy with my services!

I love that Crystal Nails doesn't smell so strongly of nail polish and remover! Service is cheerful and friendly. One possible drawback is limited staffing at the times I visited made groups of more than two or three at the same time a challenge so if you want to have everyone done at the same time call to see if they have additional staff available for special events....but scheduling an appointment is a good idea anyway if you don't want to wait.

I should have listened to my gut as soon as I went in and saw that instead of soaking off my powder dipped nails, the technician went in with a nail clipper and VERTICALLY CLIPPED THE TIPS. I think she was trying to break up the product, but in the process she broke my natural nails as well. Needless to say, the service went downhill from there and I was back only 6 days after having gotten my new dipped nails (on much shorter nails due to aforementioned damage) because they were chipped and cracked. I did get a refund but after I removed the product myself by slowly soaking them off (I didn't want them to do anything else with my nails), noticed damage on my nail bed as well. Save your money and your nails, go somewhere else.
