If you have any issues with PayPal don’t expect them to help or care, was reassured I had taken all the right steps with them to get help and then it ultimately became “contact PayPal” and when I did paypal said I had to get things reversed through the bank and they would work with them. Obviously wasn’t so on their end. There’s no way to talk to anyone above the branch manager is what I was told, in regards to disputes or anything to do with their fraud team.

Take your business somewhere else! Every week a new issue, and they can't seem to get together.

If it was not such a pain to move everything out of Gesa I would. Lines are always huge, you would think after soo many years they'd have the busy time figured out and keep a few more employees out to help , but they don't. Ever since the merge their customer 5has gone way down. Gesa is 100% about their board members getting extra money, and taking yours for any small reason. Gesa is not what they use to be. Find a different credit union if you can.

I have been banking at Gesa for over 20 years. Have had multiple cars financed through them and many other places. This is where this review starts. Go somewhere else if you want a loan. The loan officers at Gesa are far by the worst I have dealt with. I have bought and financed over 30 cars in my life. And have never had the issues I have had with Gesa. This time around it comes down to titling. I have transferred my plates as they are custom from one car to another over the last 4-5 vehicles. Each time before Gesa each loan worker would transfer the plates saving me time and extra money. This time Mr. Tim Dixon was told by me to transfer my plates. And well I financed in 10/2021 and today because of faulty work he did I still have no plates for my vehicle and to do what I told him to do all along the DOL wants more money. I tried to work it out with Tim and he told me there was no email. Well now I know put everything in writing cause if they can they will be sleaze. I am now left with outdated temp and Gesa said it's not there fault even though they do the paper work for all the DOL stuff. Smog somewhere else to finance. And stay away from Tim. He will lie to get the deal done.

Seriously the worst Gesa in the Tri-Cities. The workers here are not helpful whatsoever. They told me they couldn’t find anyone to fix a mistake that THEY made when adding me to my fiancé’s account and said they can only help me at a later date. I explained that a later date wasn’t going to work since my fiancé is rarely in town during the summer due to work. I went to another branch and was helped immediately. Don’t waste your time here.

The ATMs at the Queensgate & Union branches break down at least once a month, usually at very inconvenient times; this strains my trust in GESA’s reliability. But the staff is always friendly & helpful and they generally have competitive account & loan offerings.

I called to close my account and was told they would send my money over but almost a week later and my money is still in the account. Don’t bother with this place they are slow and difficult to work with.

The girl in the wheelchair needs to go on disability leave. She seemed incompetent about her job and really slow in the process of her duties.

I helped a down on his luck Vet cash his stimulus check because he had no ID. He signed it over to me and I deposited it online in my account. After it cleared I got him his money. A few hours later they reversed the transaction and not only took out the $600 but they also gave me an overdraft and took out some of my money to cover it. I called the bank they said that I needed to bring the guy with me with “any” type of ID and so I did and first the bank wasn’t open at the hour’s posted online so then we waited and then a manager wasn’t there to remedy the situation. This was on a Saturday and so I returned Monday again with the guy. The manager finally showed up after a while and just had an he didn’t care attitude and told me there was nothing he could do for me. He didn’t even offer to reverse the overdraft which I finally got a hold of someone on the phone that did indeed do it. I explained to the manager that I was trying to help a veteran of our country and he didn’t care. I understand now that they have a process for these type of checks but the bank errored by clearing the check in the first place. This caused me days of stress and running around. Gesa does not stand behind our veterans or it’s customers! Very sad!!!!
