ATTENTION!! Anyone banking with Hapo be careful there are people calling from a Hapo credit union number and they are not hapo credit union they are scammers. It starts off with a fraud charge and then the fraud center calls you, well what claims to be the fraud center. If i were any of you and have the text set up for fraud i would reply to that first and call the fraud center yourself and or the bank first so that you get on a secure line. Also watch the phone call when on the line they switch mid call to a completely different number. They need to figure this out there lines are not secure at all.

Terrible experience with Hapo Credit Union today. Our son was in an accident over the summer and our insurance company ended up totaling out the car. We needed to have Hapo CU release the lien so the payout could be processed.My husband called today (on a Saturday) but didn't have quite all of the information that was needed by Hapo. He gathered the information, called them back and was told that they cannot process 2 requests of the same type on the same day and he needed to call back on Monday. WHAT? He had all of the information. It is OUR loan. Will never finance through Hapo again. They are not in the business of helping customers at all.

Absolutely the worst company to work with!! Never get a loan through them! They are so greedily evil, they had the gall to repo the car in the middle of the night with my daughter's car seat and stroller in there along with other possessions of ours, gave us no notice. We were only a little over a month late in our payment and we're going to pay in a few days. Then they had the gall to not let us get there right before they closed for the WEEKEND! Which means my daughter can't go to school Monday either!!! Evil, evil company!

At Hapo today to deposit $500 cash into a family members account. Drive thru teller wanted my ID asking if I had an account with Hapo. Uh huh. 24+ years. And I asked if I didn't have an account would I not be able to deposit $500 cash into my family members account? She stated yes that I would be able to but she would have to still asked for my ID and make an in person account using my ID. Now Hapo, are you kidding me??!?!? I can see if it's a large amount but $500? So I was on my lunch and this transaction took way longer than it needed to and poor customer service. what happened to treating the customer with respect and not like a criminal. With so many choices in banking, you have a really got to do better Hapo!!! I went across the street to the competing credit union and deposited $300 cash and was told to have a nice day. I was not asked for my ID. Hmmmm

WOW! I have been extremely frustr ated with this Bank for months. I have been dealing with a situation that shouldnt have been as complocated as it turned out to be. I was going to cancel my account today but Anthony saved the day. And is only reason you have any stars in m y rating. He is the 4th person i talked to about the situation. All he had to do was a stop payment that was done over the phone. 3 previous ladys gave me the runaround and told me I had to go in there in person. Which is a bit complicated for me right now because I have a busted foot and cant drive. I even asked about a stop payment and whomever it was said I wouldn't help. One of them had me cancel my debit card and get a new one. 3 month's later. Anthony took care of things in 5 minutes. You guys should train your employees better and give Anthony a raise.

Never will refer this bank or organization to anyone!!!! I am always having issues by phone or online. I'm always needing to jump around between search engines and phone to get anything accomplished. I called this organization to request a skip payment. I was granted that request, however, they did not disclose at the time that I needed to stop the auto-pay. I talked with a representative on 7/26/23 to a representative to get the funds reversed. She kept saying we can't do it, but then finally asked for a screen shot. Then I asked what the process was and asked specifically if it would be wired back to our external account. She said "yes". I asked when would I see it, she said "at the end of the business day of 7/26/23" I thought everything was all good and thought, well, I better confirm. I called on 7/27/23 and of course, the representative I talked to was not available. I requested it be wired to my external account, she said "no I don't have that authority". She put me on hold to talk to a "supervisor". Came back on the line and said, oh no we don't do that. We went around and around. This is unacceptable for any business to not be able to wire back OUR funds back to our bank. UNACCEPTABLE! Do not recommend this company and as soon as we can, we will get rid of this loan. Very unhappy with the whole entire experience.

WARNING TO CUSTOMERS Hapo staff makes fun of you and talks about you after you leave. They also laugh and make fun of you if your account balance is low. Just so you know that's how they "care about customers". They mock you. DO BETTER HAPO. Your teller behavior is absolutely disgusting , unprofessional, and appalling. You should be embarrassed that this is how your staff treats your customers after giving you your business. GROSS. Maybe start paying better attention to the gossip mill at your front counters. DO BETTER I'll be sure to tell everyone I know not to bank at Hapo unless they want their PERSONAL PRIVATE BUSINESS being an idiot's punchline.

They continue to process EFTs after we suspended this ability. Bank elsewhere unless you want to be stolen from. Customer service consistently fails to deliver when we call about the above issue.

I barely had the account at the 4 N Union Kennewick WA office for 2-3 months when they started making "mistakes" like not processing deposits, then charging me NSF charges. I closed my account because of this; but I would like to add that the tellers there are the Rudest, most insulting people I've met in a Long time. All they say it "We can't do that" over and over. Well, if they can't perform the common duties of tellers at a credit union, why have an account with that credit union? I will NEVER recommend this company to anyone, and I will warn anyone I can to avoid their "services" (thefts).

I've never had so many issues with any bank or Credit union!! All i want to do is SIMPLY make my monthly payment & it's impossible they put a lock on my online Account for no reason throughout the year and back in September they withdrew a double payment so i called the HAPO representative instructed me cause it wasn't late there wouldn't be any issues and now I'm locked out from paying online FOREVER is what they are telling me and it takes 15-20 min. to pay over the phone and snail mail requires a Money order & they don't have a branch near me.. #IrritatedCustomer #AvoidHAPO
