I absolutely hate coming to this location. The employee are rude, unprofessional and act like they hate waiting on customers. Customer service is not what they are about. I don't know if it is because everyone who works here is young. And that is how our society is now. But it is so disappointing. Specially when makeup is so expensive.

Ask for help from an associate to check on a listed price. The price was confirmed. Took product to the cashier and was told it was 2 times the posted price. Explained that an associate had clarified the cost and took the manager beck to show her the posted price. She said the sign was in the wrong place and asked if I wanted the product at the regular price again 3 times higher than the posted price. I said no, left the store, and went to another store and got the product much less expensive.Customer service matters to me.

I was in need of some new make-up because it’s been years so I went to the Ulta in Richland. I looked for the foundation that I had used in the past and it was no longer an item. As a “mature” woman, I was a bit overwhelmed at all the different brands and items and had no idea where to start. I had decided to go home and look online when Erminie approached me and asked if I was finding everything okay. I immediately said, “No, could you please help me?” I told her my skin type and she introduced me to some new make-up items that I’m just thrilled with. She took time with me and helped me choose the right colors, which look so lovely. She was also very knowledgeable about the ingredients. I left Ulta spending almost $200 and felt like a new person. Erminie was so very helpful to me and I’m so thankful she came to the rescue before I left the store.

As someone who doesn't wear makeup or beauty products on a daily basis, I needed some advice for my under eye bags. When I stopped at Ulta, I was greeted by a lovely woman with a beautiful smile, ready to help. I explained my problem, and right away, she had a solution. She took the time to explain the product as well as others that were comparable. She also told me about a website that I could use as a tool for info on products I may need/use in the future.Tiara, thank you for the time you gave me and the excellent customer service you provided.

Hair Styling: I was attending a special event on Saturday(9/23). My sister and I had decided to get a formal styling we sat there from 11:30am-2pm our hair was flat by 3pm and we still weren’t at the event.Our stylist was very kind and nice so that was appreciated.

If you’re a person of color, do not come here. They are nice and helpful to everyone that is not a POC. A lady wouldn’t even look at me in the face when I was asking a question.I would rather go the extra mile and visit the Kennewick location to not get discriminated.

I guess maybe it's because I look like I have no money that the employees avoided me. On my days off I am constantly working in the yard or fixing something around the house. I don't really worry much about how I look. So I guess I really stood out at a fancy place like this when I came in looking to buy my wife a bunch of stuff for her birthday. I am clueless when it comes to girl things like makeup and perfume. I wandered the store aimlessly. When I would make eye contact with an employee they would look away really fast. Sorry I don't reflect the amount I have in my bank account. I eventually left, went elsewhere and found the help I needed.

My first time shopping at Ulta. Found what I was looking for but when I went to check out the cashier asks for my phone number first thing, doesn't tell me what it's for. I give it to her, and she says I don't have an account. I tell her I'm not interested in having an account since I'm not planning on shopping here again, but she keeps asking. Non stop. Her excuse is that if I want to return something they can look up my email and I can "earn points." I keep telling her I don't want to and she looks at me like I'm crazy. Not shopping here again.

Everyone is always super helpful! Evan did my 4 year old's first haircut and was so kind and patient with her, plus the cut looked great ("it's perfect!" - her words). He even helped me pick out some shampoo and conditioner to better suit her hair (she has really curly hair and I have straight hair so I was lost). I'll definitely be coming back.

I have had a great haircut there twice..... but they continually cancel scheduled appointments. Between me and my 3 daughters they have canceled a total of 4 appointments in the last two months. This is very frustrating especially this last time. My daughter had an appointment for a haircut the day before her graduation..... they canceled it the day of. Now I'm scrambling to get her in somewhere else. Very unreliable!!

the person checking me out was too busy texting to even bother to acknowledge I was there. When she did finally notice me she continued on her phone for the entire exchange. I can buy the same items on Amazon and not have to deal with people ignoring me. By the way I can see when the Apple Watch shows a tinder notification I will never shop here again

Today, May 28, 2023, I was greeted by Tiara Marshall, General Manager of the Richland, Washington Ulta. I had submitted an online order for the the Kennewick Ulta. Unfortunately, they had a power outage and closed until further notice. I called the Richland Ulta, placed my order online. Was greeted by Tiara. She was so welcoming, understanding, she listened to understand and extremely helpful. Tiara's team at Ulta demonstrated her lead. The store was extremely clean and well organized. Definitely now my go to store!! Keep up the outstanding customer service!!

The sales associate was so helpful. She took her time and helped me find items that color matched me. I feel they could do a little better with keeping the shelves stocked, but I will definitely be back again.
