It took multiple visits to the bank and weeks of unnecessary time to wire funds from our non-profit to a school in Belize, even though we had the exact wiring instructions we had used at this bank twice before. The staff person was incredibly rude and had terrible listening skills. If this were my personal account I would have closed it immediately.

I am so happy this is the bank i chose when i moved up here. No matter the issue i have had with money outside the bank, they work tirelessly to get me results and i never go more than 2 hours without a call back. Closing my first account and opening a new one was easier than i imagined, and it was all over the phone! COVID hasn't stopped these folks , or even slowed them down when it comes to customer service. Special shout out to Rick, Who has been amazing and polite any time I've called. That man knows what is up when it comes to getting results. Thank You !!

Folks are nice enough but their customer service sucks, manager was kinda stuck up. When they took over from the previous bank they changed my checking accout to where I have to pay if I didn't maintain a $5k ballance. Months later I realized it, but too bad for me. They cancelled my debit card after I didn't use it for awhile. No notice, it just didn't work when I needed it. The latest... I needed my new will notorized. They don't notorize wills even in these crisis times. If I wanted to come inside and be exposed, I could talk to someone about it. When you really need them, they will let you down. I'm leaving this review as I research a new bank.

I love the staff here. I walk through the door and am greeted by name. I recommend this bank to everyone who is looking for a place that honestly cares about their customers.

Umpqua Bank offers it all. When you walk in expect hellos and smiles. Unusual right? Not here. I'm from a small town, Umpqua Bank is where I opened my first account a year or 30 ago! That warm, welcoming feeling I received then was not because I was in a small town, it truly is and always has been at the heart of who they are. If you want an extremely personalized experience and are looking for a genuine business relationship....stop by, say hello and they'll partner with you from there....

This place is deplorable. Crooks. Do not come here to bank. I didn't have access to my own money through the weekend. Worst service in our area. Go to Numerica, Hapo, Gesa and get treated better. Update. It's worse than I thought. They opened my old CLOSED account with out my permission, cashed my check without my permission for fees, and then gave me the difference in a cashiers check. This place is so crooked.

Such nice people and they treat you with respect. We worked with them for a HELOC for remodel and refinance and they remember our name and situation. We had the pleasure of working with Philip and Sean from the mortgage team on our home loan and together they were able to get us the home loan and made the process mostly painless.

Friendly small bank but inconvenience they close at 5 o'clock Most days, their online banking automatically shut you off online and turns you back to a paper statement so they can then start charging you $18 a month... ridiculous ! I talked to the manager and they could see that I have not used any of their banking services other than depositing money into their account but they were still not willing to reverse the charges...I find this system very old and just a way to make money off their clients that don't constantly want to be getting in their accounts! What other excuses do they have to have a system like this other then to charge their clients. I will close my accounts it is unfortunate that they have my home mortgage as well.

Great Local Bank! We have used Umpqua Bank over a decade with our business and personal accounts. I have always appreciated that they call me by name whenever I go in there to conduct business. I have always been impressed with their customer service. It's also a plus that they have free cookies on Fridays too.
