“It was an honor for my small business to rent The Uptown Theater for our annual holiday party. The management was amazing and flexible to our needs. The AV staff went above and beyond to ensure our program and party went off without a hitch. We hired a neighboring restaurant (The Emerald of Siam) to run the bar at the old "concessions stand", which was absolutely perfect. The lobby made an excellent happy hour space, and the main theater was ideal for a seated dinner for 130. We even had extra floor space for a dance party! I would highly recommend The Uptown Theater! We'll be back, for sure!”

“I love so much that the owner got us in for a same-day appointment! She went thru and cut my baby's hair (he's 2) and did exactly what we asked for. Then we asked her to go shorter & she did it all again super fast! The price was $22 which is amazing compared to other places that we have taken my son to. She was so fast, so patient with my son & just all around a fair price. I'll be happy to bring my baby back. I could not believe how easy she made it look, cutting my little guys hair. He's squirmy but again you can clearly see she's had experience doing this. Thank you & see you in another few weeks!!”
“My husband died unexpectedly the end of December 2023. I planned a memorial at Sunset Gardens Event Center a month later. I worked with Cassandra who guided me through the choices and details of this event. I was allowed to bring special items of my husband. My son and I brought in 3+ tables of items the day before. I told them of what the layout could be. I showed up an hour early on the day of the event and Cassandra had laid out the tables beautifully showcasing a dolly picture I had of my husband with out sons at the entrance and then putting his saddle up front by the podium. The center was beautifully decorated and complimented everything I brought. I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful event.”
