This was my first time hiring professional movers. I’ve been in the real estate industry as a broker for 13 years in Clark County and I have referred dozens of clients to Big Al’s, all of which had raving reviews. After moving myself with friends and high school football players 3 times previously I realized I no longer had anyone willing to help me. I decided to bite the bullet and give up some man points and hire movers. I can confidently say it was the best money I could have spent. The entire process was very thorough. The initial phone call with the office manager was very detailed and she asked many questions regarding my move. Once she realized the amount of junk had to move, she informed me that Big Al himself would be on the schedule to do a free walkthrough and provide an estimate (he really lives up to the name BIG Al, in case you were wondering he looks like an NFL player). The crew of 10 men was led by Ivan and Max two incredibly skilled, friendly, and detailed movers. They helped me move my 3000 sq ft house, my wife’s business, a 1000lb gun safe, and a hot tub. They worked hard for 10 hours in the pouring down rain and had a great attitude the entire time. It took 3 trucks and a lot of man power, to my surprise not a single item was broken or damaged. Not only did they carefully pack everything into the trucks, they took time to put carpet backing down and not track any mud/dirt into either home. They stayed past 8pm on a Friday and ensured every single item was exactly where I wanted it. The amount of time and stress they took off my move was remarkable, possibly marriage saving. By the end of the day I felt like I had 10 new friends. If you’re considering hiring Big Al’s for your move, don’t think twice. Mahalo!

I have used Big Al's moving three times personally. As a Realtor, I have recommended Big Al's many times. They have always been professional, personal and have exceeded my expectations. This last move was a player piano. Not a scratch on it.

The crew was timely, pleasant, and handled the work well, but I either mis-heard the initial quote or the value varied from what I was initially quoted. Definitely make sure to verify and write down quoted values for single item moves; I didn't have it in writing, so ultimately I just shrugged and accepted it, as it's entirely possible I mis-heard or mis-remembered.

The office personnel as well as the three movers were very professional. I had to make a change and the woman at the office was very kind and willing to help me out. The three men worked consistently after arriving within the time frame and communicated constantly to make sure everything was packed and unpacked according to my liking. This was my third move with them. Great company!

Great crew. They handled a difficult move - a piano, large glass display cabinets and buffet in and out of a small condo elevator to two separate destinations - like it was nothing.
