“Some backstory: My Thomas school bus had problems with the engine fan not engaging on hills or during temp spikes. It also was misdiagnosed by a separate facility. Super stressful situation.
I brought it in to ultimate truck service and they were able to diagnose it and swap out a temp sensor. I can confirm my engine fan is running perfectly through the California mountains. Outstanding service!”

“My car broke down because of a transmission problem. Went to the transmission mechanic and he told me a 5k-10k rebuild. Ask him if I buy used parts, can he replace it for me. He said no. It would mess with the shop's reputation. Then I got a suggestion to go to this place from just asking around.
They inspected the transmission and agreed it needs a complete rebuild. And they’re willing to use transmission parts that I bought. It only takes them a day to fix it. They called me the next morning and said it's good to go.
With use part, (who knows if the used part is damaged) replacing it can be a bit of a risk, so they combine the two. Using and replacing certain components. This ensures that everything is inspected and fixed accordingly.
If you have an older car like me, you can try this strategy. Use part are cheap. They can use its components. Just make sure the 5th VIN model letter is the same. ( try to find low mildtage and 6-12-month volenty )”
