Bald Eagle Interpretive Center offers informative guided walks along the Skagit River, where visitors can see eagles, hawks, herons, and enjoy a pretty setting. Volunteers are helpful and knowledgeable, providing insights about local wildlife and nature. While some days may have fewer eagles due to weather or flooding, the center provides a good family experience with opportunities to learn about animals, glaciers, and plants like lichens. The site features a clean playground, restrooms, and a picnic area with BBQs, making it family-friendly. Dogs on leash are welcome. Despite occasional closures or less impressive appearances, the center is a place to appreciate Washington’s natural beauty and majestic wildlife.
Went on a short, +/- 2 mile guided walk with the staff. Very informative. Saw six bald eagles, a red tailed hawk & a one blue heron. Pretty setting along the Skagit River.

Volunteers were very helpful and knowledgeable. We saw eagles, a heron, and a red tail hawk during our teo-mike guided walk on the last day of the 'season', a chilly but clear-blue-sky day in mid-January.

One of many majestic things here in Washington, on a normal day. Stop and smell the flowers as they say. It's worth it.
