We stayed at the winery and it was very comfortable. It felt like a little secluded getaway, which we appreciated after 2 weeks of traveling.
It is about a 25 minute drive to the Cascades visitor center. So if you are okay with a little commute, this is a great place to come back to after a long day of hiking.
If you are wanting to hike the west and central sides of the park I would recommend staying here. The road to Cascade Pass is super close to here. If you are looking to hike Maple Pass, you may be in for about a 45 minute to 1 hour commute.
If you find yourself wanting to stay on this side of the park, this is a spacious place to retreat to.

Glacier Peak Resort is a good location for North Cascades National Park. Our cabin was nice but the AC was very dirty. If a person has allergies or breathing problems I can't recommend this place. The windows were not able to be opened. The beds were lovely but probably not suitable for people with mobility issues. The winery tasting room is only available occasionally from 12-6 in the resort office.

I stayed here for two nights with my campervan in Lawn Spot 8. It was great! Very quiet after 10pm, and pleasantly humming before that. There was only one plug (as advertised) between two camping spots, so don't count on having full use of it. Check-in was easy (and I got there around 9pm), as was finding my spot. Lots of excellent amenities, and very close to all the things. Highly recommended!

Glacier Peak Resort is a Beautiful place however the man that runs the place likes to drive fast through the park entrance and exit and does spin outs on the back roads in the park when they have a sign at the entrance that clearly says 5 mph kids playing. Also it's very hard to do laundry since the staff uses the same laundry everyday it's crazy. They should have there own washers and dryers elsewhere there's so many cabins which is nice but they have lots of laundry. Sarah was the best part of the whole stay she was very very nice and Charlie her pup played with Bella.
Nice place to stay but not for two weeks.

Fantastic location and very friendly service. Can’t beat the river sites and there are trails everywhere. We are definitely coming back.

FYI. There is NO winery nor eatery. That’s half the reason we chose this location! Disappointing

This did not look like a typical RV resort. There was a mix of cabins and tents and RV sites. Wi-Fi was slow. No added attractions besides W&E. Some RV sites were difficult to get to for the 5th wheeler or trailers.
You don’t find out about extra charges until checkout. $5/nt resort fee and $2 convenience fee for online booking after a $50/nt camping fee. There was a two night minimum.
The advertised winery and tasting room and restaurant have been closed for a while. A bottle of their wine was $22.

This rv, campsite, and cabin rental resort has potential. Would not recommend the MC5 rental.

If you are visiting North Cascades NP, these cabins are super convenient in terms of location. We stayed in a 2 bedroom- 1 bath cabin with a living room and kitchen. You can tell it is old but some updates have been made. The cabins are quiet and there is ample space between cabins for privacy. I recommend this place for its location and quietness. Just know that it is not going to feel fancy in any way.

Stayed in our rv. Sites are well keep, level, and quiet. Was charged $15 for arriving early to an rv spot, we travel all summer and are often early as most places don’t care if the spot is clear of last camper. Keep in mind I was a hour early, so it wasn’t a few minutes. First time I’ve been charged for it. But otherwise close to the cascades, only 30 miles to Diablo.

Great spot for last minute reservation. Camping right on the Skagit River.

Inexpensive and conveniently located. However I don't recommend staying in the lodge. It's really a hostel. Same building as the office and owners house. Full kitchen access but the fridge is full of old stuff. Shared 2 bathrooms with 3 other rooms. Our room was not air conditioned, and only room for a double bed and dresser. No on site restaurant, the eatery is closed. Nearest grocery about 30 miles, one decent restaurant in marblemount about 10 minute drive.
Ok in a pinch but I wouldn't stay there again if I had a choice.
I stand by my review. The only information on the web site about lodge rooms says call for information and there are no pictures. When I asked about the fridge, she said package and take care of your own stuff which we did, but there was very old moldy stuff in there, not sure when it was last cleaned. I know it's buyer beware, and our responsibility to check before booking, but others should be aware of what to expect. It's not my idea of staying in a lodge.
Room and bathrooms were clean, and convenient location like I said.
Hope you have a good and busy summer.
