Saffron apartments has a great location, easy access to anything you need. Groceries, fast food, sit down restaurants, pet stores, car care. The maintenance team is always on point and responsive. Fast service, great communication and results. The homes are very well kept. You would never know the building is more than 10+ years old. Manager is very knowledgable, friendly & helpful. Will always put whatever he is doing down in order to help answer questions or resolve an issue. Communication is on point since the new manager has taken over Saffron with community rule reminders as well as friendly reminders about rents or general communication of events happening at the community. Couldn't ask for more. Keep up the great work management & maintenance teams.

I have been a resident at Saffron Apartments for years. It is the very best place to live. Safe and quiet ,( Sammamish has the lowest crime rate in the State) . My studio has a great big closet and an imaginative floor plan. The staff is efficient and friendly.

Toured this place and the man at the front desk seemed entirely un-interested. Will not rent here.

I've had a fantastic experience living at the Saffron Apartments. The maintenance staff has been exceptional, always fixing problems promptly and without any issues. It's truly a relief knowing that any concerns will be addressed efficiently and professionally. The location is great, close to shops, restaurants, and public transportation, making it incredibly convenient for daily life. The sound insulation is decent, and while I can sometimes hear footsteps from the apartment above, I never hear conversations through the walls, allowing for a peaceful living environment. The move-out process was easy, with great communication. I can't say enough good things about the staff.Overall, I highly recommend the Saffron Apartments for a comfortable and stress-free living experience.

Horrible communication from all levels of management! Refused to refund my deposit after I decided to go with another apartment community due to their lack of responses and communication! Very shady and deceptive management! I would recommend looking elsewhereI have tried calling both the main office and local leasing office multiple times Leaving a message with my contact information each time and have yet to get a response or call back!!!..... still waiting

This is a complex and organization to avoid. They market the apartments as having new carpet. They do that because they bill you for the carpet replacement when you end tenancy regardless of damage. During the check out after ending tenancy they set a time to do the walk through. While the apartment is unoccupied, and before the set time, they tear out the carpet and say it's dirty (not stained, but dirty) on the underside and will bill you for it. This is real and is part of their scam to replace the carpet each time a tenant moves out so they can market the apartment as having new carpet. Obviously, this is against the landlord tenant act, but they don't believe it applies to them. They raised the rent 28% after the first year of tenancy. That wasn't a typo... No improvements were made to the quality of life, nothing changed, just a 28% rent increase with the minimum amount of notice. Additionally, the complex smells of drug use. If you have your window open the odor of people using drugs in the surrounding apartments, or outside the surrounding apartments, is overwhelming. They regularly set a date and time to come into the apartment, then show up hours or days earlier while you're at work. This is a place to avoid. I don't live there, but a close friend did.

It’s clean most times, but recently it’s been like this picture the past 2 weeks. It’s getting out of hand .

We lived in the Saffron Apartments for one year and it was a bit of a love/hate relationship. Ultimately we would have trouble recommending it to anyone. The good: giant windows, in-floor heating (it’s quite luxurious to walk into the bathroom in the morning and have your feet warmed), friendly maintenance staff and conveniently located within walking distance of shops and supermarkets. The bad:Terrible post-move out - a couple days prior to move out, maintenance did a walkthrough of the apartment and said no major repairs were needed but management will be the final judge. A month after move out we hadn’t heard any word on getting our deposit back, so I checked the Saffron resident portal on 9/3. Not only did the portal show that we were not getting the deposit back (cleaning charges ate up the entire deposit), but there were ~$1,000 in additional charges that had been added on 9/1. I called Saffron, leaving multiple messages, and emailed asking to discuss what we owe, but they have not responded. Also, I tried logging into the portal to take another look at the charges on 9/5 but our resident accounts had been terminated, so now we have no way of checking what we owe or even paying it. We are hoping they will at least attempt to contact us before sending the charges to collections. Terrible post-move out treatment.Inexperienced management - lack of experience prevents management from being flexible in meeting tenant needs. For example, our toddler was home from daycare during the holidays and trying to take her nap. Saffron was renovating a unit above us and the noise was so loud we had trouble hearing ourselves speak. When we called management, their response was that the renovation was going to be over in a couple of days and because they were behind they wouldn’t take a break for a couple of hours, even during the holidays when everyone is at home. They offered nothing to accommodate us in any way. We asked about using an empty unit for the nap (we knew there were multiple empty units at the time) and initially got an evasive answer. We had to send them an audio recording of the noise to finally convince them to let us use another unit for a few hours. Apartments we have stayed at with more experienced management would offer use of another space in a situation like this without even needing to be asked.Cursed acoustics - we have never lived in an apartment building where this amount of noise travels between the units. Noise from 3 separate units above us would somehow magically converge on our unit. Also loud delivery trucks to the ground floor shops liked to go by at some point between 5:30 and 6:30 AM every single morning, including weekends.Bad neighbors - not the fault of Saffron, but we had some pretty terrible neighbors living above us. They would do things like get drunk and puke on our balcony at 3 AM and laugh about it.

The apartment themselves are nice. Management and dealing with a move out was not good. They nickle and dime you, and charge for things they shouldn't. They make sure you dont get your deposit back. Eric was a great on site manager who cared about the tenants. The new manager on site doesn't care about tenants and is unreasonable.

the atmosphere is outright deplorable. i have a close friend that i have been frequently visiting for the nearly 12 years. we have watched the entire building as well as the unkempt areas like the garage and pet park(poop) area accumulate trash and unsanitary mounds of p*** build. the previous office team was amazing from the time my friend moved in up until a few months ago. the unprofessionalism that one should expect from an apartment management is basic incompetency mixed with ineptitude that demonstrate unwillingness to act even with basic human decency. we received friendly and amicable neighbors that added to the coziness of the apartment environment. last week i was met at the elevator with rudeness and disdain. what was once a wonderful place is now reflects the managements negativity. i would warn any potential residents to look elsewhere.
