This place is a joke ! No family swim, only once time in the evening. Bathroom and family changing rooms are remodeled all the time plus they membership policy is very confusing and ends up being unfair to the members. Never go back!

I’m so grateful for the daycare providers here. They are all very nice, and professional people. I cannot believe another reviewer said that some of the providers were creepy. As for the gym itself, I like it a lot. It’s always clean, and doesn’t smell stuffy like other gyms sometimes do. I also love the sense of community.

Very bad experience. This is about Sammamish aquatics.Signed up my kid for swimming class. First day was disappointment cause there were 11 kids in one class.Called their online customer support and they r sending messages to whoever is managing the aquatics classes. Two weeks I have been waiting to get a reply or acknowledgement about the class for a refund or to choose a different time/ voucher.Called the support again and they r leaving messages for he/she, don’t know who.Currently my son is attending the swimming class which is very boring ,Instructor is a teenager.Thought YMCA sammamish is great place. Not so much.I see other reviews sameas my experience.

Went here so I could have childcare while I workout. The gym is a joke - they are missing so much vital and basic equipment and it’s crazy crowded. Childcare is okay, but some of the people watching the kids look super creepy and don’t represent wholesome childcare to me.

As others have noted, this is a POORLY MANAGED branch of the YMCA.I signed my child up for swim lessons believing that as per the online sign-up that the class size was capped at 8. It was not. Every class had between 10 - 12 kids, with just one swim instructor in the water, while another stood on the pool deck shouting at the kids.I tried several times to speak with the Aquatics director about thos and to request a change of class. I was told by staff that the Aquatics director could only be reached via email. However, my emails were never answered. Furthermore, I left written notes via the staff and these were never answered either. When I brought a complaint to the member engagement manager, Ron Mulwa, about a 12 year old boy who was using the women's locker room showers and changing area, he simply offered to cancel my membership rather than address these privacy and safety concerns. When I shared with him my frustrating experience that there was no communication from the Aquatics Director and and a poor swim lesson experience, he gave excuse that there had been HIGH TURNOVER in that position. As others have noted in reviews: Managerial escalation has no impact as they are all complicit

I like this place the Best, So far, I don't know in the future, but of ALL the YMCA in the Seattle Greater Area; I love this one the most; I feel like they go the extra miles for their members.

They activated our account by mistake and charged us a full family fee for 10 or 11 months! I have gone in twice and talked to the front, as well as to the manager ( I believe his name is Ron ), and everyone is very understanding and pleasant, but after 7-8 weeks still no refund! They agreed that it was their mistake and also to a refund, but no body can figure out where in the process they are. It's very frustrating and such a waste of time. Thank you for reading my review, Hope you have a positive experience with their admin/billing Alex

The boxing bag near the track needs to be replaced. All the sand inside settled down and it's as hard as concrete. It's gonna injure someone someday.

It is cheaper than other places, but you get what you pay for. The gym is good with a lot of free weights, so it is good fit for adults. But experience for parents with children is terrible. The activity pool that better fits small children, is almost never available for free time activities. 7-8 pm during work week, for small children, really?! The lifeguard teenagers constantly bothering kids and parents, even for kids with floaters and those who know how to swim. Last time when we finally were able to get to open pool time, it was immediately close due to high chlorine concentration. The kids activities room for kids works in hours that doesn’t make any sense for working parents. If you want to go to gym and leave your kids there, you probably should take day off. Very limited number of summer camps or even just swimming classes. The main pool water is freezing, I guess it works for people who swim laps, but not if you want to have some times to teach kids to swim.Bottom line if you are coming as adult for gym or to swim, this place works, for families, I would think twice.

Great facility. Equipment is well maintained. Really like all the classes. Wish they conducted a few on Thu / Fri evenings too because everyone can’t make it to classes during work hours.Kids group swim lessons are below par though. Groups are big and sessions are short. Expect the kids to take a loooong time before they even learn to float.

Signed my 6yr old up for group swim lessons. I'm so over the people that work at the Y. First, my husband specifically called to ask if there would be any swim lessons due to it being spring break for the kids and the girl on the other end said there is. Drove all the way there to only get told there isn't any swim lessons because it's spring break. Another time, I forgot to bring my drivers license, but had a picture of it on my phone and the young girl who works at the front desk denied entry all because I didn't have a physical license on me. I asked if she could make an exception given it's for my daughter and her swim lesson and she wouldn't do anything for us. There are too many young kids who work there and don't know what their doing. I've even seen the young lifeguards messin around on duty when they should have their eyes on kids in the pool at all times. Don't waste your time or money here.

So thankful for the caring and kind teachers at the Kid Zone! Helped my husband and I have a nice workout and our kid to socialize! Wish there were more locations like this one - so beautiful, so many options and at affordable price! Thank you!!

Entire family turned away because adults didn't have our license with us. Members on and off for 13 years. Never told we need our license. Have been to the Y three times in the last two weeks and noone asked for our license. We had our licenses and membership scans and showed them. Don't care about our time or our family because they could have asked us so many questions that could have conformed our identity. Also their registration system and schedule view on line are terrible. So disappointed for our 4 kids who were sent home with us today
