Shannon is the best! I was staying at the Aloft for 3 days for work, and she was there with a smile to pore a drink every night! She has for sure made me an aloft fan.

I stay at Marriott properties very frequently for work, and have never before had a complaint or issue. However I wanted to caution travellers about the SeaTac Aloft property, especially if you are traveling with kids. There is only one place to eat in the hotel, and guests under 21 are not allowed to eat there and need to stay on the carpeted area outside the "lounge area." Not a huge deal, especially because I don't know that kids are the targeted clientele here (even though mine are quiet and a bit older.)The larger issue is that the hotel website says that the hotel offers complimentary parking, and since most travellers use the hotel to fly out of Seatac, I thought that meant that I could park my car at the hotel for the few days I would be traveling, for an extra fee or as an included hotel amenity. Not so, I was told after I had checked in, I would need to drive my car to an aiport parking lot at night with my two kids (they weren't sure which one or how much it would be) and figure out a way to get us all back to the hotel to sleep and then take the shuttle from the hotel to the airport -- and then, post travel, get my car from the car park rather than back at the hotel (where I'd planned to stay three days later when we returned late at night). Though the Aloft Parking garage was nearly empty, I was told there was no option to pay for parking there since I wouldn't be staying on property the two nights I would be gone. Further, if I did try to keep it there I would likely be towed since they are now "strict about parking.""But your website says parking is complimentary," I said."Only for the night you're at the hotel," the management said. Which makes zero sense to me.Since it was too late to cancel my reservation without full penalty, I told the front desk I needed to figure out how to get my car to a parking garage and ourselves back to the hotel when one of the front desk clerks, sensing my dismay, said she could make an exception and let me park at the hotel until my return.I was later told she should not have done that and in fact I should have been told I *could* pay for daily parking at the hotel. The hotel asked me for a credit card and I had to fill out an additional form to pay 60 dollars in additional fees. Though I'd specified a different credit card, they put the charges on the corporate card I had on my Bonvoy membership. If all my other Marriott experiences hadn't been so seamless, I'd likely move to a different loyalty program. I'll definitely never stay at this hotel again.

Everyone mentioned the noise. They were not kidding. This hotel would be a great place to test ear plugs. I use the best, and this place overwhelmed them. You are so close to the airport so you know what to expect. Breakfast was great. You get to order what you want from a limited selection. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. You kinda expect the front desk staff to be good at customer service. Not much is close by in the way of services. Good thing the hotel has a well stocked convenience store. If you want to venture out, there is a great park within walking distance and a few fast food restaurants. The rooms were modern and comfortable. My suite had plenty of room for a small couch (the kind they have in king bedrooms), strangely absent here. They had a padded bench, nothing you would want to sit on for long. If you ask for the southeast side of the hotel, there will be less noise. Parking is free in a locked garage. The airport shuttle bus ran quite frequently.

Great location, nearby restaurants & bars, interstate & obviously airport. Extremely trendy, colorful, and clean establishment. The welcoming party at reception is professional, welcoming, and friendly. They pay attention to you and make your stay worthwhile each time they notice you around. The service at the bar is exceptional. Small menu, which is much more impressive than many full restaurants. Great place to stay and be happy & at peace. Shuttle service is fast and friendly. Free outdoor and indoor parking is like cherry on top.

The room is nice, clean and tastefully decorated. There is one HUGE issue with the room though. The room has one light switch. Turn it on and the room is brilliantly lit. Turn it off and it is pitch black. There is a motion sensor light in the bathroom but it has a short timer. When I say short, I mean you are only half way through using the toilet when the light turns off leaving you in pitch black. There is no way to wave your arms and turn the light back on. You have to finish up and then the light will turn on as you are leaving the bathroom. The only other option is to turn on the main light with brings a blisteringly bright light for the other people sleeping in the room. It is a significant enough issue that I would not recommend people stay at this hotel until they fix the light problem.

Great, pet friendly, hospital hotel. My dog was welcomed and adored by staff. Food available 24/7. A little mossy pet run behind the building. Gated garage parking. Free makeup wipes in the room. I’ll be using this hotel every time I work in Seattle. Other guests were friendly as well.

The staff are super nice; are very helpful, as well as knowledgeable. Sadie at the front desk handled our reservation & check-in seamlessly. There's many activities to do in the lobby which gives it a more upbeat social feel. However the room area is nice a peaceful. The bar had good spirit options and there's an option to even create your own cocktail which is cool. Alicia the bartender was very kind and quick with our orders. We will definitely stay again.Rooms: Clean futuristic feelFood & drinks: Fun options
