We had the worst experience at this location. We have just spent the last few days cleaning out a rat infested mess. All of our items are ruined and we had to have a garbage disposal company come clean out our unit.1. We along with multiple other unit renters on our row (We were all there on the same day) discovered that there had been moisture buildup and we had all found evidence of rats, mice and sugar ants. We had no food in our unit but later discovered they were bringing food in through the back wall holes and living in our unit. The food they brought in attracted the ants. At first we just found rat feces on the ground and immediately attempted to complain but for almost 3 weeks no matter what time we stopped by the office, nobody was there and calls were never answered. We couldn't move anything out until we made a formal complaint per the insurance policy so we had to wait and things progressively got worse. We finally made contact and made the complaint and were just told they were sorry. We asked if there was anything they could do to support us. We were told by the office that we could just submit an insurance claim but it was out of their hands. No offer to set traps, no offer to move units, no offer to comp us a month. And our neighbors said the same which tells us they knew there was a problem and didn't care. The units next to us are still empty. We began the insurance claim and a few days later saw a $25.00 credit to our account from Public Storage. We had thousands of dollars of nice furniture stored and the rats ate through all protective coverings as well and they credited $25.00. The best part of the $25.00 credit was shortly after, our rent was raised by 50.00.2. We learned from Orange Door themselves that the larger plan only covers up to 5,000 for natural disasters. (Flood, tree falling, earthquake etc) All other damage is covered under the secondary plan with a cap of $250.00 and a $100 deductible so you only get $150.00 dollars. I understand that this was in the fine print but what a joke of a plan.Our whole furnishings for our house we are moving into was in there and it is unsalvageable. A garbage disposal company had to come get rid of so much of our stuff. We have to start over and lost thousands upon thousands of dollars and the only thing this Public Storage offered was $25.00. If they would have just tried to make it right when we first came by offering a months credit or to try to fix the rat issue we could have met in the middle and consider a move to a different unit but they just didn't care and offered nothing. There was no effort to help. Even when I gave verbal feedback we were leaving and they finally. offered a different unit, we were just told "we are sorry that happened".I would never suggest using this place to store your belongings after what we went through. I really want to rate this storage facility higher. The staff were incredibly helpful, and directions provided were very easy to understand and follow. I felt like the facility was secure, and frankly I was initially extremely happy with my storage unit. However within the last two weeks of renting my unit, rats destroyed several of my belongings, eating through multiple canvas bags, backpacks, and clothing. I found several small holes in the back of my unit where I assume they entered. I had not stored food in the storage unit, so I’m confused what they were going after; however I found blood on several of my items, and rat droppings all throughout my unit. When checking out and closing my unit, another woman in line said that the same thing had happened to her belongings, she was a few units down from me. She claimed the rats had ruined one of her pieces of furniture and that she had found a dead rat inside one of her containers. Turns out my personal renters insurance does not cover damage due to vermin. I truly wish I could give this place a higher review, as I felt the staff were really helpful. But my belongings were not protected, and that leaves me disappointed, I don’t think I would rent here again

Outstanding experience at this Public Storage location 4past 2yrs. Wonderful staff 5STARS all around. VANSEN and the young lady that drives the cart around to remind us when it’s time to leave are both: incredibly helpful, exhibit stellar professionalism and EXEMPLARY CUSTOMER SERVICE. From our initial contact we were supplied with adequate supplies to purchase, instructions on using the convenient Public Storage app to enter & leave the premises. Nice restroom onsite. Other amenities were realized just by asking what was available to us as different needs arose.THANK YOU to a “GREAT TEAM”!!!! ???

Not recommended for anyone who needs access or any customer support. There is seldom if ever someone at the office. There is no direct phone number online either (will have an extended call to transfer to a voice box that will often not receive a reply). Staff may give inaccurate information and not contact customer to correct this. If one loses a key it will take a very long time and process to get back into your unit.Moving things is difficult and it's evident they are aware once someone has a space there is little needed to keep their business so the best way to get in touch for support as a renter is to say u are looking to rent a new spacePeople there are all lovely and very nice. But the company is the worst and a renter might end up paying extended periods with no access. Calls arent returned and generally one has to drive in person n and wait outside as a crapshoot someone may show up to the office. If renting again would look into maybe a smallerplace w more private ownership. Do not recommend.

My family has had a unit here for many years. I have to say that they have always been really great to us. L'Tasha the manager has quietly had my back when I needed it most, without me asking. I can't tell you how much that means to me. I take care of my mother with Multiple Sclerosis by myself. Over time you forget to ask for help, because you lose sight of yourself. To see that a kind manager has helped you without receiving the recognition that she deserves, means more than I can put into words. Thank You to those quiet Angels that help buttress the rest of us. You should have your time in Sunshine.? Fawna

Received excellent customer service from Teuila this morning. She was very patient allowing me to look at multiple parking spots for storing my trailer. Setting up the account and signing the rental contract was smooth and easy, she explained everything thoroughly and concisely. The property was clean and very secure. Excellent customer experience from beginning to end!
