We planned for a late arrival around 9PM and due to travel delays ended up being almost 4 hours later. We called as soon as we knew about the delays and their team accommodated. The room was perfect for a lower cost option in the area. Highly recommend.

We have now stayed twice at the OG Ace hotel and what a great experience. The staff are so friendly, helpful, welcoming and knowledgeable. The hotel really feels connected the city vibe. The rooms are comfortable, good quality mattress and great linen. The breakfast is simple but really tasty and good quality. The location is great for the market and space needle plus lots of local food and some nice independent stores. If you’re looking for a more personal and down to earth stay in Seattle it’s a great option that’s worked so well for us. Thanks Ace 🙏🏻

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Ace Hotel. Doug and the staff provided great service, even offered to carry bags to the room. The hotel is conveniently located to all the main attractions including downtown, Pikes Place and the piers. There is only street parking, but I didnt have a challenge finding any, as I was able to park across the street and noticed available parking in the area throughout my stay. It is hourly parking but only from 8am-8pm and free on Sundays. I stayed Friday and Saturday night in August. The room had this neat layout with the shower behind the bed. Continental breakfast in the morning was typical of any hotel continental breakfast. The Front Desk is only open from 8am-8pm so after hours issues can be a challenge. One minor note, the waters left in my room were both unsealed and previously opened and didnt seem full. Other than that, and older building with no elevators, but clean rooms, beds and towels. AND GREAT SERVICE. Would definitely stay again.

We (Family of 4) spent a night @Ace before embarking on the Victoria Clipper Ferry the next morning (super close - walking distance). The rooms were spotless. The shared bathrooms and toilets are super modern and clean (exceeded my expectations by far). And the service was second to none - so kind, so welcoming, so happy to run the place and share recommendations for what to see nearby. What a rare find!!! Thanks a million

Really, SUPER nice people. I had a red eye flight and they helped me even hours after the checkout. I love the vibes of this hotel, super artsy. It’s true that the bathroom is shared, but it’s incredibly clean and smells awesome. Plus it was an awesome surprise that breakfast was included!

Doug is the sweetest and made our stay feel welcoming and easeful. He helped us resolve a booking issue and generously upgraded our room. Great customer service!

Had another great stay at the Ace Hotel. I first stayed here more than 20 years ago and still love staying here. My 18yo kids really like to stay here, they love the design and style. Not sure all reviewers realize this but Ace Seattle is the OG Ace from where it all started. They made great design choices then and they still hold up today. This location, however, also has the warmth of a family run business.. and the beds are really comfortable.
I am always a bit concerned about the city safety aspect in Seattle (or any big city these days) and the streets around Ace were noticeably better this year. We have always parked on the street and this has worked out. Depending on what room I get, I sometimes wear ear plugs if it's a weekend night and the clubs are loud that night.
We walked to a nearby restaurant that Doug recommended La Tavolata and it was awesome. After a long road trip and staying at some generic hotels on the trip, it felt great to spend our last night of the trip at the Ace. We will be back!
Depending on our budget we sometime stay in the rooms that don't have a bathroom but it is a treat to stay in the rooms with bathrooms. I think I have stayed in half the rooms now over the years!

Doug was so amazing and helpful! Room was so sweet! We had a view of the water. Right in the heart of the city. Can't thank Doug enough for going above and beyond!!

Outstanding location for a night's rest before or after a cruise (or Victoria Clipper) that is at pier66 or pier69. Rooms are comfortable and eclectic... TV with many channels for early risers. Boxed water in the room, and water and coffee or tea at lower level kitchen. Bed semi firm and great for sleep. A little city noise in the day, but quiet at night. Our room had en suite bathroom and water view. Huge thanks to Christine for all the helpful suggestions + guide to breakfast (and afternoon tea). Many fun vibe bars and restaurants within a 5 minute walk including Macrina bakery and Tavolata inspired Italian dishes. Will stay again! We want to see progress in the nearby p-patch garden.

The building is fun, classic Seattle! We were lucky to catch Doug when we arrived over Easter weekend, He was incredibly sweet and made us feel right at home. Tracy checked us out with the same great energy. As artists/creatives we’re grateful a place like this still exists. We’ll definitely be back!
