The ice cream in the freezers is not frozen. The containers were soft to the touch. They need to turn down the temperature of the freezers.

The overall experience was great. Amazon has all of these high-tech features including a dash card which allows you to check out without fumbling for a card or even using your palm. There's also coupons that you can download a QR code for if you're making a return or picking up an item. However, in the absence of this coupon the prices are not that great. The selection is not like what you find online, though robust enough, you might find better deals at a local grocery store.

Amazon Fresh has a sizable selection of groceries, produce is pretty fresh and is very clean. I really like the staff, they are super friendly and informative. The whole shopping experience is great for people that just want the typical grocery shopping experience or people who have fun using the dash carts!

It's just glorified grocery store. One big complaint is the lack of meaningful EV charging. Two Volta charger where only one is actually turned on is an absolute joke.

Great service. Prices fluctuate like everywhere but surprised with the savings! Pizza bar, sushi (Excellent Health Dept rating) LOADS of lunch choices AND a salad bar.

It's pretty stupid that your over 65 and from Australia and you walk around in do your shopping and you want Alcohol and you can not buy it without a American Licence or a passport not with you country of origin drivers licence, Americans can come to Australia and buy Alcohol as long as you can prove you are over 18. This is maybe whey there are more international travellers in Wallgrenn than Amazon in Wallgrenn you can buy with your country of origin drivers licence.
So now it go a little fether than Amazon and to my shopping at Wall greens don't go to Amazon if your a overseas traveller looking for Alcohol. We in Australia are taught not to carry our passports around because it's to difficult to replace it when overseas if you loose it thanks Amazon.

I love how you can just walk in, put stuff into your shopping bag, and walk right out! Recently, they got rid of the exit stations where you have to scan a store code from your Amazon phone app in order to exit... Now, you can literally just walk out! The produce is great quality and not one cherry in my batch was bad. They are missing 1 star because you have to wait a few hours before getting a receipt.
*Update 8/26/2024:
I was very happy with the walk-out shopping (where you just grab what you need and walk out of the store without having to wait in a check-out line). I even registered my palm scan to make the most of times when I did do the check-out. I told all my friends about how convenient Amazon Fresh stores were and how fresh the produce was... But my last experience there, the walk-out option was gone and I had to use that smart cart.
The cart was bad.
I spent so much time having to learn how to use it, and even then, it kept malfunctioning... Making my shopping trip so much longer.
Even with help from the Associate, it was a terrible experience and I ended up having to wait at checkout for a store employee anyway.... So it would've been easier to just do regular check-out like the other grocery stores!
The cart takes so much more effort than the grab-N-walk-out, but it's even worse than regular cashier check-out. It should just be scrapped.
Customer service had this to say,
"Please no need to worry I've checked the details. it is due to that many customers complain about charging wrong items while checkout section.
so due to that they temporary removed the feature.
please no need to worry they were under maintenance.
you can expect the changes once the bugs were fixed.

Amazon NOT Fresh - regular groceries looked ok, but the hot food like soup and prepared dishes looked terrible. Everything had a thick crust on it, like pudding left out. No thank you.
