Intellectual honesty, integrity and name recognition AmazonYou are changing Prime Movies and in order to maintain the service as it was you request 35 $/yr, hence approximately 30% increase in Prime yearly fee. And you do it "silently", presenting it as a fait accomli for teh benefit of the customer. It looks more like greed. Isnt Bezos already one if not the richest person in teh world? As he said, Amazon will also fade away. And corporate behavior such as this on take out much of the luster from the name Amazon!

Unfair Business Practices/ Fraudulent TransactionsAmazon attempted to process my return on September 26, 2023 for $149.44 (not a small hit to a disabled veteran's budget), it rejected in their system because my original card for that order was no longer a valid card, my bank had contacted me regarding suspicious activity and replaced my card, when Amazon attempted to process the return it rejected AS I ALREADY TOLD THEM IT WOULD (long conversation with Stephanie). Turns out the suspicious activity my bank detected was Amazon debiting my account multiple times for the same amount. This is well documented including ALL of my attempts to follow up.On October 3, 2023 when I followed up yet again (spoke to Christine), I learned that Amazon had sent me an email saying the return rejected in their system, I got the email on October 10th and immediately answered (in writing) when they asked...how would I now like to receive my refund? I replied "by mail" and provided everything they asked for to which they said (spoke to Amanda then Manfusa) it would take a minimum of four (4) weeks.On November 12th after yet again another follow up to Amazon (spoke to Richa and Kannish), they sent me a retro-charge notice and apology because they were not going to take any further action because my original order was over thirty (30) days old. So, they have the return and they have my money. Really?Amazon just washed their hands of me and multiple times refused to escalate this issue to someone who could resolve this issue. This is just the final ridiculous excuse by Amazon for NOT doing the right thing.But the bigger question is, what happens to the money that Amazon fails to return to it's customers and how many people across the country are having this same or similar thing happen to them?

I bought Sony headphones from Amazon's website. Ordered on November 21, 2023 (Sony WH-1000XM4 Wireless Bluetooth Noise Canceling Over-Ear Headphones (Black)) I paid the "Black Friday" sale price of $249.99. Today, 12-13-2023 I noticed they are now listed for $229.99. I called your customer service # and spoke to someone in your South Africa call centers. They informed me they can't credit me the $20.00 for lower price they are selling for today. My option is to: "Return the pair I have, and order new headphones at today's lower price."Call me silly, But this is a poor business model. Amazon is going to have to pay for the shipping for the return. Process them back in (RTS Return to Stock) which requires testing the headphones, cleaning them. re-boxing them, then selling them as re-furbished at an even lower price.Seems like a poor business model. Only thing I could think of was, Amazon is counting on me to NOT go through the hassle of the return process.My only choice is to return these Sony headphones. Buy them at Walmart through my Walmart plus account have a new pair by tomorrow. Walmart has them listed for $229.99 as well. You lost money and that's not my fault.

I had the worst customer experience with Amazon. Their customer reps are incredibly unprofessional. I have felt unheard and yelled at by one of the reps.

Pet peeves concerning Amazon: deliveries AND delivery instructions.Example: recent delivery did NOT go to the address I specified but to a central location (where grubby hands will touch gift baskets in delivery, or worse).Example: delivery instructions do NOT provide for simple requests such as RING THE DOORBELL, PLACE where it cannot be seen, etc.

While the company does provide a convenient service, they should NOT offer next day shipping. More times than not, next day shipping is not fulfilled as promised. There is no easy way to voice your frustrations on this issue either. For these reasons the rating given is appropriate. Do not purchase an item that you need with expected “next day” delivery.

Amazon sucks, I forgot my password I got a new phone number and they won't change my phone number by phone so I can update my information and password. I don't order from them often therefore I can't remember each item I've previously ordered so they won't let me update my password I'm done with them screw Amazon. ?

As a new book author with a book on Amazon I am extremely ticked off with them and ticked off with the former publisher workbook press one of these is screwing me over and I don't know which? I have contacted the head CEO of Amazon on Facebook I hope he gets back with me! The book was supposed to be set at the price of $11. 99 on Amazon! So what does Amazon do? They Jack up the price! To $15 and some cents! This is wrong on all levels and this was not the agreement with workbook press my publisher! And now they're telling me I have to contact to lower the price why is that responsibility put on me when I am the author? I would think that's the publishers job! Amazon i's hurting my chances as an author now an possibly my reputation! Nobody in their right mind is going to buy a book for $15 if they don't know what the book is about or who the author is? I had already told my friends in Boston when I found out the price was going to be 10.98 that the book was now on Amazon that was January! What Amazon is doing to me now is wrong! And my cop-out publisher is wrong as well for not getting involved in it! This has soured me and angered me big-time! I don't know if I want anything to do with anymore publishers or Amazon! Right now I'm sick of both of them! Sad part is I've had eight publishers told me the book has the potential to be signed with a traditional publisher right now that's just talk! And talk doesn't get it done! Forgive me for ranting but I had to tell you the truth! Unless it is done with a traditional publisher I am done as an author writing anymore! This experience with workbook press and Amazon has soured me beyond belief! I am not writing for anymore publishers unless they are traditional publishers that's the bottom line! That's how ticked off I am right now! Amazon has a Kindle of the book for $3.99 on Amazon that's fine! But the paper back is nowhere to be seen after it was first listed on there for$10.98 in January! If this is how Amazon does new book authors I don't want any part of them! And workbook press is not told me anything any more of the progress of the book supposedly 30,000 different Book outlet distributors! So I'm not feeling too good right now about publishers and Amazon I think you can understand why? Amazon has since pulled the paperback off their shell but the Kindle is still available!?? ?

My rating is ZERO for AMAZON CORPORATE. AMAZON CORPORATE IS DISGRACE AND APPALLING. TONE-DEAF TO CUSTOMERS. Amazon IS HORRIBLE to customers and RED "F" for FAIL IN customer conlict-resolution. AMAZON has LINDA IN LEADERSHIP IN CORPORATE. NO EI. QUITE GRANDIOSE NARCISSIST. Linda's attitude and behavior are DESPICABLE and mirrors Amazon's attitude about customers. ALSO DESPICABLE. AMAZON is now Goliath and clearly has forgotten that customers made Amazon the force it is today. WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 2, 2023 IS THE DAY I LEARNED AMAZON'S TRUE COLORS. Don't believe those fuzzy Amazon commercials. THERE IS NOTHING FUZZY ABOUT AMAZON WHEN IT COMES CUSTOMER ISSUES. Corporate is unresponse and hands-off and hides behind gatekeepers. It takes an ACT OF GOD to get Amazon Coporate engagement. Like Maya Angelou said: When people show you how they are, BELIEVE THEM. I BELIEVE YOU, AMAZON CORPORATE THAT YOU DON'T VALUE MY BUSINESS. Ms. Angelou also said: I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, BUT PEOPLE WILL NEVER FORGET HOW YOU MADE THEM FEEL. I WILL NEVER FORGET MY UNFORTUNATE AND ABSOLUTELY NIGHTMARE EXPERIENCE WITH LINDA IN LEADERSHIP, unprofessionalism and arrogance at their worst, WHO HAD THE NERVE TO SAY: YOU'VE REACHED THE END OF THE LINE when I asked for hersupervisor's name to report her. Linda had to fear behind the corporate cloak, which she BLATANTLY ABUSED, ALL WITH AMAZON CORPORATE'S APPROVAL. And in case you're wondering, I spent $1100 on PRIME DAY, JULY 11, 2023N and AMAZON refused to work with me. The recurring word "CAN'T". Linda's ending word, FILLED WITH VENOM, "NO". All of Amazon's staff was impudent and just kept transferring me to different agents. NOBODY IS VESTED IN CUSTOMER-RESOLUTION, including Jeff Bezos and A. Jassy.

I recently had a frustrating experience with Amazon's customer service. I purchased a product that arrived broken and when I reported it, they refused to issue a refund until I had packed it up, driven to a drop off location, and then claimed they never received it. After reaching out to both the company selling the product and Amazon's customer service, I was told that it would take up to 30 business days to receive a refund. I expressed my frustration about the time, money, and energy I was losing and explained that I had ordered the product for a meeting on Monday. Unfortunately, the representative was unable to offer any solutions and simply asked if there was anything else they could help me with. As a result, I closed my account due to their unsatisfactory business model, customer service, and products.

They failed to deliver a luggage by the promised date with amazon shipping (ups is the low quality partner)..since i leave the country tomorrow i do not have the luggage and neither will they refund the money. Their protections and guarantees are worth nothing..only chargebacks. This is a very unreliable and low quality company that needs better standards. Also don't steal people's money it's very unethical!
