I’ve donated blood a few times, and this one was absolutely horrific to the point that it makes me question donating ever again. On top of taking over an hour to even see anyone (the woman ahead of me decided to leave which I wish I had done as well), I finally had someone come start the process with me. After going through the standard questions and tests, he started getting setup to draw blood.
I mentioned that I’m not great with needles and to please go with one of the big veins so he didn’t spend too long fishing around, which he brushed off. He proceeded to fish around in one arm for several minutes which was an extremely unpleasant experience, eventually deciding that he needed to try the other arm instead. Another 10 minutes later, we started on the other arm which ended with the exact same result, followed by the declaration that he’s only allowed to try twice in a day per patient, and that I needed to reschedule to come back tomorrow. Now I’m leaving with bandages on both arms and a new lifetime phobia unlocked. Stay away from this location!

Worst experience in a long history of blood donations, poorly set up people rude and don’t know what they’re doing. Don’t know how to measure blood pressure. Please stay away.

0 stars if i could. My friend lost all due to a fire. The caseworker assigned to her was cold and heartless. She spent a weekend in her car w/ no gas, no shelter and ended up in the hospital. When she tried to get in touch with somebody to get some help from Arc. The caseworker lied and said she wasn't using the referrals given to her. NOT TRUE! I helped her check all referrals. There is absolutely no room in the shelters and there was no place that she could stay even for that weekend in the bitter cold. Their response was to close her case and that that she was given ample enough help. We all answer to somebody someday. I do think Arc needs to screen their volunteers a bit more. They also breach privacy. This caseworker thought it was okay to call and bother my friend's landlord. She was messaging her landlord ungodly hours. In the long run Arc did not help they hindered. They closed her more heartache and pain on top of what she endured with the fire. How sad. Heartless and cruel. I do understand why your reputation is as crappy as it is. I didn't want to believe it but now that somebody that I know has God through this for his hand, the world would be a better place without your kind of so-called help.

I enjoyed this location. The older lady who checked me in was very friendly. I got a fairly new blood technician who was visibly nervous. I liked that all the gifts for the July blood donation were available.

Daughter had a CPR certification class here. She said it was a nice spot and she received very good instruction. Now just have to wait for her card to be emailed?
