Went to get my eye exam last week, everyone accept the doctor who was great acted extremely annoyed and bothered to help me. Went back 20 minutes ago to pick up my glasses and the first women to help was nice but couldn't adjust my glasses correctly so we waiting for her co-worker. Another woman came to pick up glasses after me and found a spec in between the lens of her new pair(not able to be wiped away) and asked if they could remove it. She was not rude at all. After she left the two workers started talking about how they wanted her to leave and the second girl didn't come out from the back to help because she didn't want to talk to that woman. Then she also couldn't adjust my glasses which is no big deal but she was rude about it and acted bothered and annoyed again and I felt like she just didn't listen to what my concerns were she said to come back in a week and see if they fit better but they are completely lopsided so I can't even wear them. I will be going to the south center location tomorrow to ask to for help because I refuse to go back there.

After several months, a few hundred dollars, and at least 6 visits to the office, I STILL don't have any contacts. Go somewhere else.They have wonky equipment that changes your prescription after years of no change, they will issue you trial pair after trial pair, make you wait on back orders that other places don't have, and ignore you when you tell them about your problems.Their staff are nice but I've wasted so much time and money here.Go somewhere else.

Worst experience. Scheduled for an appointment at 11:55… and now it’s 1255… I have not been seen by a doctor… I had to ask an individual in the front what the wait was… one patient ahead of me has been waiting since 11… I was not aware this was a remote type of appointment so it takes even longer according to the representative… they couldn’t tell me how much longer the wait would be and that it’s expected to take long for remote appointments… waste of time… I just left because no one communicated anything while waiting in the waiting area… and it sounded like the computer was having issues with the other patient.

Love this location. Yulissa is insightful and professional, and I'd highly recommend working with her during your appointment. Everyone staffed here made my experience comfortable, especially after not going to the eye doctor since pre-pandemic.

Worst experience ever!!! Never been to this location before and will never come back please stay away. Appointment was at 11:35 checked in 10 minutes ahead it's now 12:53 and I told them to cancel my appointment wasted my time and money to drive to this location.... I will stick with federal way or another company.

I went in for new glasses and new lenses in my sunglasses. No one offered to help me and I was the only person in the store. I picked out new frames and ordered them. Then I ordered new lenses for my sunglasses. They estimated 5-10 days. They accepted my insurance-Avery popular one. Later I was told they do not accept my insurance. A week later I was told my reg. glasses were ready but no sign of the sunglasses. Five weeks and 6 phone calls made by me, I got my sunglasses. Staff are not helpful and very unfriendly. I won't go back.

I loved the Ballard location so much. When it closed I came here and the optometrist offered to “just renew last year’s prescription and forego the eye exam”. That tells you all you need to know about this place.

UPDATE: 30 August 2023So, the glasses came in just under three weeks after the appointment. In one pair of the glasses, the lenses are loose. When calling to see what could be done, was told that because the glasses are not under warranty (no warranty was offered), if they can't fix it in store there would be an added fee. Ummm, we paid a pretty penny for two pairs of glasses.The customer service is shoddy, as if there is little care in the world that customers have issues or concerns and the attitude is one of 'it's not my concern'. Customer service is definitely lacking.Went in with my Mom on August 3rd to set an appointment for August 5th. That went relatively okay, aside from the fact that the person kept looking to me for responses when it was my Mom making the appointment and is quite capable of speaking for herself. The day of the appointment went well. My Mom was seen on time, staff was polite. We were told that the glasses would arrive in two weeks and to check after about a week and a half as sometimes notice is not sent out. After following this advice my Mom was told to check back on Saturday (the 19th) or Monday (the 21st). Called just a bit ago and was told it will be an additional week before the glasses arrive. This, for me, is bad business. No email or phone call notifying the customer of a delay and makes me wonder if the order for the two pair of glasses was actually placed timely (payment was taken promptly).While the staff seemed pleasant enough, the communication leaves quite a bit to be desired. We'll wait another week and will update with the experience of receiving the glasses or not and the condition/quality of the glasses. The three stars is merely because my Mom had a pleasant experience with the optometrist and the staff were friendly enough.

Loved the initial experience, I ordered my contacts I told them to only order the Biofinity toric contacts, I got all the way home with them yesterday and only noticed they were the wrong ones when I went to put them away. I feel like they don't care to listen to what their customers say or need/want. I feel like I was treated the exact same way I was last year by walmart vision when they forced me into reordering uncomfortable contacts.

Bring your business somewhere else. They don’t care for your experience.I booked the appointment the night before at 4:30PM the next day. Since many reviewers suggested that their booking system is not reliable. At 3:30PM, I called in and was advised everything was confirmed.Now this was when the nightmare happened. I arrived and NO appointment under my name. HOW?? Instead of giving out solutions, they kept blaming that it was a typo when I booked this appointment. How could it be a typo with the whole different first/last name/phone number while the email is corrected???? I was told before my exam that I could follow-up at any other Americas Best across the nation and when I went to pick up contact rx in another state they would not release it . So I paid 100 for just a trial lense. Manager did not understand my issue customer service did not call me back. Now I am once again at home not around an Americas best.

I arrived at 11:13am at 2600 SW Barton St, my appointment was set for 11am. I called the clinic as I was not familiar with the area, asked if their location is within the Pavilion. I was on the opposite near Bank of America(thanks to google maps). I spoke with Lisa, who immediately said usually we have a 10 min grace period, can I put you on hold to speak with optometrist. I said ok, so if course I wait which would add onto the tardiness time. Then she cane back to tell me that they cannot see me. I flipped on her because if she gave me instructions, I would have been there for the time she took to put me on hold, she didnt provide any guidance on where they were located. I did yell and say the time taken to speak with examiner, she could have told me where they were and I could've made it, yes I admit I told Lisa she sucked and I wouldnt come to this location! I took a breather and looked on their website because I took over 30 min to drive to this location, didnt want to waste my time. They had availability for 12:15pm, I filled out the criteria and the clinic blocked the schedule. I went in to let them know that I would like the appointment that I attempted to schedule, with a slight smirk, "yeah that appointment is taken"! Im just like unhunh ok. By the way when I went in not a single soul in there but the two front desk representatives. Americas Best, I thought the $$ would be in the amount of customers seen, but these people in there were happy sitting down looking at each other.

My wife and I had a great experience. Everyone was kind to us. My wife doesn't speak English and they let me translate for her during the exam. They didn't pressure us and we got a good promotion for 79.95 for 2 pairs of glasses and a full eye exam

Dr. Chau is an amazing doctor. I got my glasses and now my contact lenses. Both times he made sure that my prescription was correct. I never felt rush with him so I am not sure why people are saying those things. The 2 Ladies in the front was also amazing except for that 1 girl who does the pre-check up, she always looks like she hates her Job and shows it as well.
