Cozy place. Friendly service. Delicious lattes. Love the oat milk! I'll be back.

Peculiar coffee shop in the heart of Ballard. The layout is a little clunky as it appears to be an old house converted into a coffee shop. Not much they can do about that, but it still feels clunky. I didn't feel inclined to stay and hang out more than 15 mins. The shop ended up being pretty busy while I was there with a single barista, so the service was a bit slow. I ordered a Mocha and Hot Chocolate and both drinks were decent, but I don't think I'd go back given all the options available.

Mediocre Latte, great scones. Pretty cozy.

This is my favorite coffee shop in Ballard. Unpretentious and consistently excellent coffee - my drink is an 8 oz nonfat extra foamy latte and delicious pastries - I'm fond of the Cardamom Bun and the Olive Oil Cake. The pastries are often just coming out of the oven when I arrive. The friendly and professional staff are great at managing a rush of customers or shooting the breeze for a few minutes. There is a cozy nook upstairs if there's time to stay and sip as well as a comfortable room upstairs.

I love the space, but I wish they didn't pull all of the shots for 4 drinks before steaming any of the milk. Paid $7 for a 12oz latte with a stale shot.

Great place to stop in for a quick coffee, esp during Sunday morning markets

Pretty quiet on weekday mornings. Good for hanging out and having a moment.

You can only get away with being rude and dismissive to your customers if your coffee is really superb - which it isn't. If I want to pay through the nose for mediocre coffee, there are plenty of places I can go. Won't be back.

Nothing special about this place. Got a hazelnut latte with oat milk, mediocre with astronomical prices!

Cozy little coffee shop right in the heart of downtown Ballard. It's a very small shop so it's not great for large groups but perfect for a quick visit or getting in some study time. I especially enjoyed their upstairs area which was super cozy. The matcha latte was a big hit with our group.

Great coffee with emphasis on in house syrups. Had the Americano and was excellent balanced with not. Too much acidity.

Staff is very friendly and made me a great coffee, just by explaining my desires as a coffee novice. Well done.

Very good coffee and surprisingly fast service -for one or two baristas. Good customer service. It's a small space, but very pleasant.

Good atmosphere, nice employees, clean, and most importantly good coffee (Counter Culture is what they were pulling when I was there).

First time in a while I have experienced service as rude as I did here. I walked in, made brief eye contact with the barista behind the counter. It was completely dead in there. She looked at me and continued what she was doing - which was complain about her job to her coworker. I stood at the counter while she and her coworker continued to do that for about 30 seconds. Another employee approached the counter and I thought to myself - oh ok maybe she's on break and that's why she's been ignoring me. Nope, he looked me in the eye, took a sip from a water bottle he had under the counter and then walked away. I waited for another couple seconds and walked out. Maybe go somewhere that values costumers. Good coffee isnt hard to find in Seattle.

Great coffee, friendly people, bigger than it looks with a couple nooks. Be nice to them on Sundays, the farmers market crowd is intense.

really good vibe, I liked the separated sections to sit. I got a cortado with some cinnamon syrup and it was damn good

Visited Ballard Washington and the Anchored Ship Coffee Bar a couple weeks ago. Friendly staff owner is a great gal and the coffee and lattes plus tasty treats are all great. Highly recommend this place.

Cute little cafe with delicious Counter Culter Coffee, I highly recommend the Hologram blend. Great place to stop in during the Ballard Farmer's Market. There's a limited food menu that has great breakfast sammies that they change out from time-to-time but they stop using the oven after a certain time during the late afternoon.

In a word: disappointing. My lavender chai smelled fragrant but did not taste good at all. I've also gotten a latte here but it was forgettable. The real reason for the two stars: bad customer service. The blond barista with a nose ring couldn't have been ruder to me.

Based on a to-go order. I got a quad oat milk latte which was quite delicious. The worker was friendly and service was quick despite me not being first in line. I initially ordered a triple, but they brew their espresso shots in batches of 2. The coffee bar has seating, but I didn't utilize it. The area where you order coffee is pretty cramped. Barely room for 2 people.

When you walk in it will seem tiny and crowded, but there are hidden seating options. Not a ton of options, but an upstairs balcony above the coffee bar and a slighted elevated area behind the coffee bar. Coffee was pretty good.
