To say I am disappointed is an understatement. This was one of the worst manicures and pedicures I have ever received and I have been getting my nails done consistently for years. I had heard good things about Apollo, but not only was the staff rude, let cut my nails way too short and did the worst, messy paint job. For the price they charge, I can’t believe how bad of a job they did. I do not recommend and will not be going back to Apollo again.Service: Nail painting

I have been going to this Apollo Nails and Spa on Queen Anne Ave since it was introduced to me by my daughter three years ago as she emphasized not only the professionalism of the staff but equally how the facility is particular with hygiene and cleanliness.Well, this nail salon continues to make sure you’re in a safe place for an excellent manicure/pedicure. For one, the restroom is always clean, not just the main salon. The maintenance of the restroom, imo, is a very good indicator of how much owners of any establishment prioritize safety for their clients and staff. And of course, their stylists are neat, not just with their looks but also with their work. They open the bag of sterilized tools in my presence.Despite the challenges of the pandemic and now inflation, I really appreciate that they have not cut corners and sacrifice quality. Place remains safe with professional nail stylists. Regarding price, it’s not cheap but affordable. You earn points for cash that you can apply later for m/p down the road. That’s a big plus too!So, Apollo Nails & Spa, keep up the good work!!!

This is by far the best place to get a mani pedi. It is a relaxing experience and the massage is a real treat. My husband and I are regulars and will not go anywhere else.Services: Hand & foot massages

Pedicure turned out great, but manicure nail polish had to be redone because it never fully dried. During both attempts, they applied each coat with almost no drying time in between. There were bubbles under the top coat. The nail polish they were using seemed very old since it was goopy and difficult to apply. Ended up having to remove all of the polish when I got home. Cost me a lot of money and time out of my day. Probably will not get a manicure there again. The reason I gave 3 stars is that they at least offered to fix the problem, and the pedicure was great!Services: Pedicure

I rarely post reviews but this experience is less than lackluster and warrants one. This review is specifically for the nail trimming/ shaping. It was like a child was doing my nails. First the nail lady cut it so short that my skin was showing and it hurt a lot, I have been getting my nails done for over 20 years and never has my request for short and square resulted in this fiasco. Then, she used the tools aggressively such that multiple times I had to tell her to stop hurting me. And finally, not one single nail was shaped nicely. I had to take the nail file from her hands and do it myself. Honestly that's all they are required to do well at a Nail Salon. I will not be returning.

Got a scen tao (sp) manicure and love it. My hands were soft and motorized. Also had a deluxe pedicure, it was a little painful but that could be because it's been months since my last one. I plan to return and would recommend it to others.

Beautiful atmosphere, attentive and kind staff, lot of color options. Loved how they were organized by color, making them easier to look through and choose from.I had an appointment at 6pm (after work) for mani and pedi. The Solon closes at 7, which apparently also means that all the staff leave at that time. This meant that I was unable to allow my nails to dry after they finished because it was 7pm when I finished. I love that the staff are able to have work-life balance by getting out on time. But, I also feel that it’s a disservice to the clients when their service is rushed through and they are unable to ensure they are dry and don’t mess up their nails.Services: Pedicure

I’m here getting a pedicure and it’s officially the most stressful experience I’ve ever had. Let me say that I very rarely post reviews but feel the need to now. When I came in to pick polish I noticed they mostly have China Glaze and other off brands. There is also OPI but most of those looked thick and cakey and old. I take my seat and there’s no plastic covering for the foot soak bucket- so let’s hope it’s actually sanitized. My technician starts to take off the polish and aggressively starts the acetone soaked cheap cotton to rub my toes until it burned my skin. I asked her to stop and from there took the polish off myself. She doesn’t speak any English and seemed confused. From there I asked her not to use any metal tools- only the buffer because at this point my skin is still burning from whatever acetone product they use. I’m really shocked by the positive reviews and will not be returning.

The nail ladies on point- front desk customer service is very rude. I asked for nail art when I first got there and the lady said yes. They painted my nails and messed up on the nail art. The lady left and said she was too busy to fix it and then had the front desk lady come tell me that they couldn’t fix it because they didn’t have time. She then told me “next time you need to tell me if you want nail art so we can plan for it”. I then told her”ok well next time can you tell me BEFORE you start, you can’t do it because you don’t have time”.The lady was very rude and tried to make it sound like it was my fault I requested a service they said yes to. This is not a place I would go to again mainly because of this interaction. Don’t request nail art or extras because this place can’t pivot or be courteous.

My experience was not great. Fingers were bleeding after my manicure. It took about 2 days to get back to normal. Prices are too high. Not worth the price. Definitely would not recommend itServices: Manicure

Their nail trimming skills have been less than adequate lately. I recently had to go elsewhere after my appointment to get a nail fixed to prevent an ingrown nail.

The nail techs are fantastic but the front desk is horrible. They never answer the phone or return messages. Yet every time I’m there (every month for 2 years) there’s at least 2 girls sitting up there playing on their phones.Service: Pedicure

I’ve been to Apollo nails here and the Capitol Hill location. Both places are amazing! The salon is super clean and they sterilize all tools (which is surprisingly hard to find). They open the sterilized packages right in front of you. They also gently remove gel polish without the use of harsh drills. They do an amazing job and take their time to ensure my nails look great. I plan on continuing to come here only.
