Ballard community center has spacious toddler playroom with lots of fun toys and large windows let in plenty of natural light. Clean child friendly bathrooms are here. Center has variety of activities for kids and families, with preschool, after school care, pottery studio, sports, toddler gym, pickleball, gyms, courts, free programs, free food and drinks on Tuesday evenings in summer, Halloween carnival, Easter egg hunt, gingerbread making, and public open playing area for kiddos with blocks and trains. Free WiFi, free parking, well‑lit vending with sugar‑free options, and auditorium shared by juggling club and roller derby team added to delightful community.

Great local Ballard community center. Not much to do for adults though. Mostly kids activities. But there is a really good pottery studio and adults are welcome to participate. No fitness center, no locker room no shower facilities observed.

I bring my one year old here at least once a week. She loves playing in the toddler gym.
