Avoid renting from this company. I rented a unit in Fremont in 2019 when I moved across the country, and Ballard Realty instructed me to mail the deposit via standard mail. Then, they made me send a second cashier's check via expedited mail, so I had to send them not one, not two, but four months' rent. They actually gave me an attitude on the phone when I asked that one of the checks be returned to me. The landlord was lovely, but every interaction with the realty company was downright pathetic. My friend who toured the unit recorded the tour on video, and he asked the person the only two questions I had- where is the laundry, and who is the cable provider. She told him she looked everywhere but couldn't find a laundry room (it was the only door directly across from my unit) and the cable provider would be Verizon (it was Comcast). So, if you must work with Ballard Realty, be prepared to work around them and do everything yourself at every step.
Edit to reply, I have since been married and changed my name. I did in fact rent with this company. Reviews are meant to be a place to share your experience with others, not a place for business owners to use their records to fight every bad review. Notice how this company is using records most people expect to be private to publicly dispute reviews they find unfavorable, and seriously consider if you should trust them with your private information and business. That's why reviews might come years later, once a person no longer lives at an address they could publicly share on a whim.

This is on Greenwood. All rates are constantly increased every 6 months. See current pictures of disgusting laundry room. It’s been reported but no cleaning is done.

Ballard Realty has been a great property management company to assist us as a renter. They are very responsive when we have submitted maintenance requests and have friendly, knowledgeable staff. Payment and submission of maintenance requests is easy to address with their online system.

Seattle native here 👋 Besides the home I grew up in, this is the longest I’ve ever lived anywhere in Seattle. I highly recommend living anywhere this property management team works with. I always felt safe and secure knowing this property management team was watching over the apartment complex. I lived in. Can’t say enough good things about them.
