love love love the staff at this location. i have 3 ragdolls that all started on their kitten wellness plan with them and i’ve always felt that i could trust them with my babies. they update me on everything and are so great with the babies even when i have to leave them at the hospital for the day. shoutout to alex, we love her (:

The store itself is fine, the Vet portion, however, has lots to be desired! I requested a health certificate for my dog which I sent, they then asked me to get a fecal sample, $82, then they said that since her Vet only worked on weekends, they'd have to wait for the certificate. Several weekends pass and still no certificate. I finally had to ask the store manager on a weekday who was able to get me the certificate...surprisingly on a weekday.

I have had many issues here including doing treatment with my dogs ear for a year just for them to “forget” everything they have done to this day. Smh they don’t care about your pets here

I don’t love this place… the payment plan, the customer service. It’s corporate pet care.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Banfield Pet Hospital has been a reliable choice for my daughter Rose's pet care needs. With the monthly plan covering all preventative care, including shots and spaying, at $77 a month, it ensures a proactive approach to pet parenting. The staff's genuine interest in Rose, encouraging us to stop by and say hi, reflects a commendable investment in her well-being.The friendly and helpful staff never pressurizes sales, emphasizing the importance of the monthly plan without pushing additional products. This approach sets them apart, making the experience more about pet care than upselling. While I haven't experienced the spay day upselling, the overall lack of guilt for missing appointments showcases their understanding and flexibility.Despite being part of a chain, Banfield Pet Hospital has proven to be a trustworthy choice in the Capitol Hill and First Hill area. I initially hesitated due to chain status, but their exceptional service and care for Rose have alleviated those concerns. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking a reliable vet.

I would never recommend this vet or their Optimum Wellness Plan to any pet owner. Due to their negligence, my cat suffered with a tumor for longer than he needed while they kept giving me the runaround, ensuring they made more money with every visit. On top of that, when I called to cancel the “wellness plan” after putting my cat down, they want to charge me nearly $500 for the REMAINDER OF THE YEAR. These people don’t care about you or your pets. Find a better veterinarian that does.

My friends cat has been here for 6hours for nothing. Just waiting around to pay the unnecessary bill. Bad vet that doesn’t care about animals.

Absolutely love the team here. I've had so many mixed experiences at other locations, but it's been nothing but the best here. I feel listened to and that they truly care for my pets needs and my own. Never salesy, always helpful. Thank you Capitol Hill team! :)

Same as others, super bad time management. I made an appointment at 9am. I was told it would be around 30 mins at first, in which i was surprised because it usually takes around an hour or more. After they called it would be an hour and half, waited an hour and fourty minutes, was told that my cat still hasn’t even been seen, and longer waits are needed without any estimate time. After all it said it was a drop off time lol then why bother set the timeframe for scheduling.

super bad time management, other banfields are great. this one was just chaotic with expected two plus hours wait time when they have you schedule an appointment a month in advance

I have 2 dogs that I take here. They treat my dogs fine. My only complaint is that checking in takes at least half an hour. You can be early, on time, or 5 mins late. Without fail, always takes 20-45 mins. This is consistently a problem for early morning drop offs. Sometimes walk ins are accommodated before those with appointments because it's first come first serve, which can be frustrating when you're trying to get to work on time. Even when everyone has an appointment and everyone has to get to work, for whatever reason the check in is super slow. Staff is friendly, just slow for check in. There could be three people at reception, but once one takes a pet back after check in, they don't come back out.Banfield has an easy pet plan, so it's convenient and I'll stick with them. I just wish this location was a little quicker with check-in. Prioritize those with appointments at least. Why have an appointment for drop offs, if the real drop off time is half an hour later?I've been to several Banfields in different states and in busier cities. Those locations have taken maybe 15 mins to check in.
