My dog is in heart failure and takes human medication for it meaning I go to this pharmacy as it's the closest one. They are constantly not filling my prescription and then when it is filled i have to wait 40 mins in line to pick up the medication. Not including the song and dance I have to go through each pick up explaining yes, it is for a dog, no I don't have ID for him he is a dog and yes I would like it as soon as possible he needs this medication to live. If i were picking this up for a human this would be devastating the way I don't have access to his life saving medication. As well as the fact that the staff ARE NOT NICE

The pharmacy staff are great and professional, but they have constant staffing issues which drastically impacts patient care.5 stars for exceptional staff, 1 star for administration that won’t pay more or hire more staff to give the pharmacy what it needs to meet community demand. Since Fred Meyer no longer accepts Medicaid, this is the only pharmacy in the neighborhood that many folks can use.

I just called 3 times and was put on hold without an opportunity to speak with anyone, total wait time of one hour. I gave up. I'm about to travel and require BP medication, the script was submitted to Bartell Drugs 4 days ago and no update. I'm going back to my provider to request the refill is cancelled and moved to another pharmacy. Their poor service has perpetuated since 2020 and only gets worse. I was very loyal to Bartell Drugs, it's sad to see this local company get flushed. As others have shared, do not send your prescription to this pharmacy. There are extended waits to get a prescription filled. If you have a true medical need, they may put you in danger due to their inability to fill it.Beyond the long lines and rudeness of the pharmacy, bottom line is they don't fill in a timely manner. My heart goes out to those that require their medications but can't get them filled.

I’m seeing lots of negative reviews, but my experience with Bartells Greenwood pharmacy today was positive. I needed Paxlovid, and it was the only pharmacy in North Seattle that had it. My Dr. called it in and when I called to check if it was ready for pickup, I waited fewer than 10 minutes to speak with a pharmacist. She informed me it would be ready in 10 - 15 minutes, so I sent my brother to get it. He reported that the wait at the pharmacy wasn’t bad. I’m very grateful they had the medicine and could get it to me the same day.

3 days to fill simple prescriptions. This is scary for a healthcare provider. 16 people waiting in line for prescriptions. If Bartells can’t fill prescriptions in a timely manor they need to stop taking prescriptions and close the pharmacy!

Incompetence and mismanagement reign at the pharmacy - the last several times we've tried to get a prescription filled, we've received a notice that it was ready, only to be told in-person that it'd be another several hours with no explanation or apology.I'm not usually one to write reviews, but my dog just puked everywhere because I couldn't get her cancer meds despite multiple attempts and assurances that they'd be ready for pickup.Never had any issues in the main store; they seem great. I don't know what's happening at the pharmacy but I'm done hoping it's gonna get better and I'm switching future prescriptions to a different location.

The pharmacy assistant was totally rude and unprofessional and the pharmacist supported him in this. They told me that my long term medications were transferred to another pharmacy, so they could not fulfill them. They could have easily called the other pharmacy and had it sent back. But their only solution to me was to go somewhere else bc they were busy. I switched my pharmacy permanently tonight and will contact their corporate tomorrow. They were rude, dismissive and I was feeling horrible for lack of my medicine.

Not the employees fault, but the pharmacy is definitely over capacity. I waited an hour for a prescription in the store unnecessarily because they forgot to call my name over the intercom. Do not recommend coming here for your prescriptions.

Spent about 45 minutes on a Sunday afternoon waiting in the pharmacy line watching the only two pharmacy officials sitting behind the counter doing whatever they're doing to not reduce the line. Who in their right mind as a manager would intentionally understaff a bartells location like this? No wonder Bartells keeps closing down their locations....

Avoid this pharmacy. There is always a super long line, no matter what time of day you go. Middle of a weekday? 10-20 minute line. Evening of a weekday? 45 minutes. It's infuriating.Further, it's IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of them on the phone. We're talking 30 minutes on hold no matter what time of day. It's been 2 weeks since I sent in for a refill and I have no idea when it will be filled. So you basically have to go to the store and wait in the line just to get an update. There are times when they tell me to come back on a certain day, I do, and it's not filled. They tell me, oh actually come back this other day. I do, it's still not filled. I had to go there 4 times to pick up one prescription once.AVOID THIS PLACE.

I tried SO HARD to give my business to Bartells over Walgreens but alas after so many fails - I am going to have to go back to Walgreens. On this occasion, I called my prescription refill in the day before I came. It was to be ready the day before. I come the next day to pick it up. I wait in line for 20 mins only to finally get to the register and be told that they need 20 mins because it’s not done. So, there was ZERO reason for me to call it in a day in advance. Anyway, this has happened before. DONE.One quick update: the staff tried really hard to get my order complete and get me checked out. I don't think it's the staff's fault but perhaps they are just constantly understaffed.

The staff here is so kind. They're always such a pleasure to see when going in store!

My husband came to the pharmacy to pick up Vicodin after a painful surgery. They told him it would be several hours. When he tried to explain he was extremely painful a tech aggressively told him "we can't work through our lunch break " and shut the roll down gate in his face. Does everyone have to take lunch at once? Is being rude necessary? On another occasion he went to pick up a prescription to lower cholesterol and they tried to give him klonopin - a controlled substance! When he told the tech that was not his medication they responded "but it matches your birthday ". That is dangerously incompetent.

I will be careful of thinking to fill your prescription here. These pharmacist are very negligent and you can tell they hate their job. I get it they are very busy and get pressured a lot, but if they had a little bit more professionalism and a better system of learning how to handle customers and calls, everything would be on top, and there would be no issues. I know there are a lot of other people who are going through the same thing. The waiting line is super long and the wait time on the phone goes about an hour and they hang up on you. I’ve caught these people sometimes not even do anything and putting people on hold for the longest. I tested them! I called and they put me on hold and I was in the store the whole time and they had me there for over an hour on the phone line while I was observing then the whole time. I know someone else is thinking about doing a class settlement lawsuit. These people don’t understand that some customers need medication and not realize that some people can die y they dont have it!! Something has to be done in the fact that the complaints customer service doesn’t care or the CEO is pretty sad and disgusting. These are our lives in your hands and you can care less like if it’s a game.!!

Unacceptable.I frequently call to verify that my prescription is ready for pickup (the text notification feature does not work) and get put on hold and I STAY on hold for upward of an hour at a time - just to verify if a prescription is ready for pickup! And the woman answering the phone is so rude!If I could move to a different pharmacy I would - my insurance doesn't cover prescriptions from Kroger/QFC/Fred Meyer anymore; but when I've had extra money, I've actually had my prescriptions sent to QFC (paying out of pocket full price) in the past because (if I can) I would rather pay full price than have to deal with Bartell's.They need more people answering phones and a better way to organize information - it's disorganized chaos every time I go in person.
