I have been to this store many times since moving to Seattle. I have always loved the vintage selection and thought the store associates to have great taste.
Today I went in with my friend and had a horrible experience. The two women working the shop were hawkish and incredibly rude while we shopped. I can empathize with a store that struggles with shoplifting, but they went out of their way to make us feel like criminals (with no cause) for the entirety of our time in the store. They griped at us any time we neared the dressing room, followed us around the store, and basically talked down to my friend who wanted to buy a beautiful vintage gown. The dress fit her perfectly, did they just not want a Korean woman buying it?
Terrible customer experience. Be better.

Without a doubt one of my happy places. They always have an incredible selection that is fairly priced. I don’t think I’ve ever successfully gone and not purchased something. Highly recommend if you’re looking for unique vintage clothing.

I’ve tried this shop several times bc I love vintage clothing. The customer service is meh. I feel like they can’t be bothered. It’s not a shop that welcomes browsing bc they treat each item like porcelain—they don’t ask if you need help, but rather follow you around to watch what you’re doing. I just don’t get it and I consider myself an informed vintage shopper, so I’m mindful of handling items appropriately. I've visited a few times with tween(s) who are genuinely interested in vintage clothing and each time it was clear they were not welcome. It seems like an age group who is into fast fashion should be treated better if you really believe in the value of vintage. These are well-mannered kids who should be treated better.

Love this record shop. BJ is one of the nicest guys around and the records curated here are small but mighty. You will always find something worth bringing home to spin. Top three shops in Seattle which speaks volumes considering their size.
