Been a customer for 7 years...until today.Wonderful experience setting up my most recent new account (phoebe?) In May of '23. The three times since then ...atrocious.After setting up an appointment, you'll be picked up by the first random employee available. After this you will be bringing the employee up to speed with your issue. Employees (the last 3 times) are not knowlegeable or patient when taking in information. Spent ten clock minutes today trying to explain my current issue, only to have the employee put most of his effort into proving me wrong. The employee was fixated on his incorrect first take and finally I had to give up and steer the employee to a solution.Employee said he would refer that solution to a manager....and that was the end of that. No time line, no process explanation, no name..he was just going to tell his manager. Job Done?!?My main bank card (where my wages go) has been shut down for longer than 24hrs when I try to pay the first HALF of my rent ($1250) despite the promised $2500 24hr limit. I couldn't buy groceries after the first payment, and I couldn't pay the second installment of my rent 36-48hrs later!!During the appointment I had to use the phrase: "I'm a 46 year old man, not a teenager living in my mom's basement".So apart from that first reassuring interaction in May, subsequent employees have been lacking in adequate people skills (listening mainly), unmitigated by any appreciable technical competence.The last employee to see me before today had a giant white boil on his nose and very bad breath. Wear a mask?Going to Bank of America today. Sad.If I'd had the wonderful lady who set up my account assist me the last three times, I am 100% sure I would be staying. Regretfully, I misplaced her card.Byeeeeee .

Train better your employees for not wasting clients time. I went to update my lastname, and the person make me go home to get an ID that prove my maiden name and when I came back with this ID they didn’t know what to do and could not update my lastname. They even suggested an "identity theft" even though I was showing them 3 different IDs.

Removed ten thousand dollars from my account... payment from another becu member to whom I sold my childhood baseball card collection. I know the funds were there as the gentleman called and verified the account balance in front of me. Upon Inquiring, I was flatly refused any explanation as to why. Agent scolded me and implied I had stolen from BECU somehow. Now I have, neither a card collection nor anything of value in it's stead. The other account holder is now deceased.

Phoebe is an absolute delight! She worked with my boyfriend on getting a cashiers check for us, and he came back with all the praise for the customer service that he received with Phoebe. He said she was super kind, fast, helpful, and super excited for us and our move. Super personable and sweet, too! Thank you Phoebe for making his day! You are lovely! All of my other experiences at this bank have been wonderful as well.

Maybe, call me crazy, but instead of purchasing the rights to play hip songs while people wait on the phone for your help... you could hire enough employees so that the wait time isn't 10-20 minutes for me to just increase my withdrawal limit. I have been with your bank for a few months and I'm already searching for a better option.

Honey was treated so nicely by Rose Frishberg-Izzo that today, when he needed to go to BECU again, he passed by another BECU because he "liked the service we got there" -meaning Rose in the Greenwood BECU. We are a mixed-race couple and sometimes get rude or bad vibes by the big banks. Or indifferent service. I brought Honey in after I joined BECU and we are always treated so well. Rose is kinda special though, above and beyond. She even emailed me a really yummy roasted cauliflower recipe with gravy while we were concluding our business. All BECU employees that I have encountered are so nice. But Rose is especially awesome. Give this woman a raise!

Unfortunately the area in Greenwood has become unsafe with drug addict campers taking over. There was a sketchy guy in a hoody lurking around the entrance/atm lobby after hours. Make sure to check the area before withdrawing and try not to after dark.

Had a horrible experience as a HOA treasurer. They contacted me more than 20 fold of other mortgage lenders, most of the time asking for info they should find on the standard home owners documents shared upfront.They rejected a loan last minute on an unprofessional occasion - they did not like our budgeting format, created by a very experienced CPA who served the board before me. It is not their call to pick the format, as long as we can provide all the fiscal info and proove our due diligence. I provided more than enough backup, hoping to prevent any trouble, and it's very frustrating to see innocent neighbors suffering from its result. They should take a serious look into their process quality and employee due diligence.

Would give one star if possible. They've stolen from my family. Withholding money that is documented and verifiably mine, claiming it's fraudulent and my account has been locked. They have cost me thousands of dollars and all that they seem worried about when I take the time out of my day to call up customer service and sit on hold for at least 30-45 minutes is that I speak in a calm tone even though I'm LITERALLY BEING ROBBED BY YOU PIECES OF S***

BECU removed my personal Line of Credit for no reason despite that I have good credit with the account. This disrupted coordination with other finances and caused me to lose money. BECU will secretly alter your account without reason.AVOID BECU AT ALL COSTSThey can easily fix this right now, instead they will likely reply with “we’re sorry, call us so we can fix it” but never actually will because they don’t care. They already have my number. Just fix it and drop the fake PR.
