Everything leading up to our arrival was great! When we pulled up, there were many homeless/sketchy people on the block so I went in and my husband stayed in the car. When I was waiting to check in, one lady who was talking to another worker for a while finally looked up and said, “are you with him?” Directing toward a person about 10 feet to my left who was checking in with another worker. Anyway, she started to help me and hardly said a word to me. This was disappointing because in the emails I’d received prior, this hotel seemed to have a personal touch. The rest of our stay was fine, but the neighborhood was so sketchy. We made sure we weren’t out after dark. The parking is also rough, but nothing happened to our vehicle. The room was clean, and there were workers throughout the hotel that were friendly. Just wanted to leave a very real review since we felt shocked upon our arrival!

The room was so tiny the 4 suitcases we had would barely fit. But that’s ok. The location was awful. Tent city 100 feet away. Vagrants everywhere and drug use (not marijuana) in plain site. It was just sad and awful and if you’re a dog lover don’t don’t go. They all had dogs with them. Poor things. Sorry honest review. Room was clean small and fine. Step out the door and just bad

This is great spot for your pre/post cruise stay. I’m only giving 4 stars for the sketchy neighborhood. While I wasn’t bothered by the street folks actively preparing their drugs to sell and people urinating in the street, some may clutch their pearls. The location can’t be beat, walking distance to all the great tourist spots like Space Needle and Pikes Market. The staff is great ,very friendly and although the hotel is clearly an older bldg it has been well cared for and is very clean. I appreciated the extra touches like water and coffee in lobby and the in room snacks. Cruise port service was excellent and super convenient.

Great location in downtown Seattle. It's short walk (8ish blocks) to the space needle, science center, museum of pop culture, and museum of illusions, and bubble gum wall or the aquarium. All sorts of bars and restaurants around to try out along with the monorail. The staff was very helpful. The rooftop deck was a neat experience and there's an interior courtyard to hang out at. They also have a shuttle service to the cruise port for $10 per person. The building was well kept and the room was clean. The only issue was a lot of homeless in the area with occasional clouds of stinkweed to walk through but not the hotels fault. They didn't harass us and we felt fairly safe in the daytime. Overall a good experience.

We recently stayed at the Belltown Inn and had a generally positive experience with a few disappointing exceptions. The location is excellent — within walking distance to Pikes Place Market, the Space Needle, and the ferry terminals, which made exploring the city very convenient. ADVICE-when coming from Seattle-Tacoma Airport, if time permits, take the Link Transit Train, its $3, the drop-off is a 10 minute walk to the hotel, a similar Uber will run you $60-$80 or up to $120 if prices are surging.
The rooms, while on the smaller side, were clean and well-equipped with thoughtful amenities including a mini fridge, microwave, iron, and a TV with a variety of channels. The lobby was a nice communal space, offering complimentary coffee in the morning and both regular and lemon-infused water throughout the day. There was plenty of comfortable seating, including couches, chairs, and a large table that could seat around eight people.
Most of the staff we interacted with were friendly and welcoming. However, we did have a frustrating experience with one front desk employee regarding transportation to the airport. On our last night, we inquired about arranging a ride and were told the hotel offered a private shuttle service for $68. This was positioned as a guaranteed, on-time, private ride — an appealing alternative to Uber or Lyft, which were fluctuating in price at the time ($60–$70).
I specifically confirmed with the staff member that the service would be private, and he confidently assured us it would be. Unfortunately, when the vehicle arrived the next morning, it was a shared shuttle with other passengers. The driver confirmed this, and when I returned to the front desk to ask about the discrepancy, the staff seemed confused and said a manager would follow up with me — which never happened.
This lack of transparency and follow-up was disappointing and left a negative impression on an otherwise enjoyable stay. Had we been given accurate information, we would have made different arrangements.
In summary: Great location, clean and comfortable rooms, and mostly helpful staff — but be cautious when relying on front desk transportation recommendations. Accuracy and follow-through are important, and unfortunately, that fell short in our case.

My husband and I arrived at the hotel and checked in early. We had to wait for the room to be cleaned. My husband went out for a bike ride. I got the message when it was ready, but wouldn't give me the key, they had to get him back even though my email was where they sent the cleaned room info. I had to wait over an hour for my husband to return and he had to cut his ride short. Never, ever had this happen before. And the Inn is right in the center of the Seattle homeless population. Didn't feel safe.

This hotel is in a great location. It is about a half mile from the space needle in one direction and the pier is about a half mile in the other direction. We stayed for one night before our cruise. They offer a shuttle to the cruise terminal for $10 pp. Rooms are clean and updated. The desk is manned 24 hrs a day. There is a good breakfast place next door as well. You can easily take the train and then a bus to get to the hotel from the airport.

Amazing staff, great, clean, tidy and ac’d rooms, shuttles to the pier/port and airport at reasonable prices. Little noisy outside but that’s not the hotels fault, there may be vagrants about but you deal with them the same as you would anywhere else. If I’m stopping in Seattle I’ll definitely use this hotel again.

The entire staff was incredible — everyone was so friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The location was perfect, with the added bonus of complimentary bikes available for guests, which made exploring the area even more enjoyable. The rooftop was clean and inviting — a great spot to relax and hang out with friends.
Housekeeping went above and beyond, always making the bed and restocking utensils, cups, and toiletries whenever needed or requested. It truly felt like they cared about the guest experience.
Getting to the hotel was also super convenient. We took the subway from the airport to the downtown area, and it was just an easy 8-minute walk from there. The city was very bike- and scooter-friendly, with plenty of bike lanes, which made getting around a breeze.
Overall, it was an amazing stay, and I’ll definitely be booking with them again the next time I visit Seattle!

Did kne night there before a cruise. Good location for downtown and food in the area. Close to Space Needle.and Pikes market. Helpful staff and very friendly. Right on the busline so made it easy to take train and bus from airport.
