The prawn miso ramen and hakata style ramen’s broth was not hot enough right upon serving, but rather lukewarm. The flavor was really delicious and the noodle’s texture is spot on.The restaurant at night seemed very understaffed despite it being really popular even at late hours. It took a long time for the waiter to come and take our order.Overall, the overall experience there was quite underwhelming. But I would come back again to give this place a second chance.

All those with five stars have been struck by other gods, right...I waited in line outside the door for 40 minutes. It was very unsafe nearby. I wanted to endure it for the sake of food.After entering, the waiter acted very slowly and helped the people who were seated last to order their food first. It was very unprofessional.I ordered shrimp miso, but it turned out to be diluted white soup with shrimp added! The soup is probably like Taiwan's early convenience store microwave ramen, and the noodles are alkaline noodles.

The most terrible ramen restaurant of more than 10+ ramen restaurants that I have tried in US. Their soup is so watery and I can tell you that nissin raon instant tonkotsu ramen is even better. Also a lady server is just rude. There are a lot of good restaurants in Capitol Hill area, so don’t waste your time.

I went here recently and left feeling that this place has gone downhill. I got my typical order (ramen w/ shrimp, gyoza, beer).The shrimp in the ramen tasted different and of lower quality and the gyoza were undercooked.Finally, it felt like they've been skimping on the cleaning. Counters were a bit sticky and I felt like it was grimier than it had been in the past.

(UPDATE) I'm so sad about that my best ramen restaurant in Seattle area has changed...The broth is not as thick as before, and they do not use tasty dried red shrimp and powder for the shrimp ramen any more, yet the price is even more expensive.This place is one of my go to places for ramen in Seattle area. Very authentic, and quite similar to the one I had in Tokyo!

cute ramen place - warning, it’s very small on the inside and only had about 10 seats or so. a pretty limited menu but all the options are good. the noodles taste super fresh!

Out of town from Oregon and decided to give this place a try. Parking was insane cause it was Valentine's Day so I had to drive around for 30ish min to find a spot nearby.The food was incredible. Well worth the wait! The waiter was super nice and extremely fast. I will so be coming back! ?

My hakata ramen was average at best due to the flavor of the broth, gyoza and the chasu. Noodles were on the firm side. The sign in front of the table seats said they had thick flavor if you wanted it. If I knew it was going to be that bland, then I would have asked for that option. As for the chasu, it was fatty and slightly charred on the edge to give it some burnt flavor if you like that. One of the pieces was a bit cold also so I had to dip it in the broth.We got there around 6pm and they didn't have any tea or eggs for some reason. Very strange considering they open at 5:30pm. They did offer to substitute it for more gyoza or extra meat so that was nice.The gyoza lacked the flavors I expected in terms of salt. They were slightly crisp on the outside and warm so that was good.
