Great atmosphere, friendly people, lots of fun events. It's nice to come during the day and work out of the house, or in the evening for a drink and good conversation.

My wife and I joined as the pandemic’s restrictions were starting to lift and we needed to escape the house and see people. We’ve made friends and it’s become a default destination after date night or when we just need a place to go.
Over the years my relationship with the club has changed. Originally, it was place to hang out outside of my house and meet new people, but since then it’s become my home office away from home, my table top gaming space, and an opportunity to participate in social activities that I would never have planned myself. Wine and whiskey tastings, tea parties (I know, I was surprised too), opportunities to dine out in new and interesting restaurants, trivia nights, and holiday celebrations now dot my calendar.
I think the thing I’ve enjoyed the most during the last three years is that BRC has become my Cheers. It’s a place where people know me. Sometimes I’m happy to sit and have a drink and listen to heated discussions about the best strategies to beat the Wordle or why a particular movie is the best in the series. Other nights, I find myself joining into discussions of the Drake Equation or the Monte Hall problem (often made more entertaining by the consumption of whiskey).
The members are friendly and open and will often invite you into whatever they’re doing, the space is comfortable like a friend’s rec room, and the BYOB design and low monthly fees mean I’m not constantly thinking about the costs.
My wife and I have, at various times, been members of the Columbia Tower Club, the UW faculty club, and the Rainier Club and while they all brought something special to the table, we’ve stayed with BRC because it fits.

I love Birch Road. I'm an original Seattle clubhouse member since it's opening and have always had a great experience - even through Covid. Communications and events are wonderful and accessing the club is easy and convenient.

We recently had the pleasure of hosting a wine tasting event at Birch Road for their members, and it was a fantastic experience. Grace was exceptional to work with—she was welcoming, organized, and had everything perfectly set up for us. We also hosted a private tasting for our members at the venue, and Grace went above and beyond by providing a beautiful cheese board for our guests. The space itself is wonderful, and we can’t say enough great things about the overall experience. Highly recommend Birch Road for any event!

Birch Road is an affordable members club that offers an array of awesome amenities. I joined in 2019 and relish the opportunity to co-work at the beautiful landmarked Stimson Green carriage house. In addition, I've attended an array of fun events, from Halloween, Super Bowl, and Oscars parties, to member-led events including a Día de los Muertos holiday. Members are encouraged to create clubs, suggest events, & bring guests. Highly recommended!

Birch Road is an amazing place to share cocktails with friends, attend a wine tasting or join one of the many activities. Staff is friendly and so are the members. A great place to entertain your friends inexpensively before a night out on Capital Hill.

Such a lovely space to meet new folks at, especially over a meal or beverage. Everyone here is kind, welcoming, and happy to pour you a glass of whatever they’re drinking while they get to know you. Birch Road also hosts several events a month (usually wine or spirits tastings) that are well-curated and a great way to discover new favorites.

Birch road is so warm and welcoming! It’s an amazing reminder that third places are so important. I love getting the opportunity to meet people and learn new things at the events. It’s also a great place to hang out with friends new and old without feeling like there’s a time limit on your table.

Love this place! It's great to bring my own friends to so I can entertain, but also a lovely space to make new ones. People are generous with their time and favorite tipple, with loads of classes and activities to join in. Membership is cheap for what it offers.
