The atmosphere is beautiful, the service is incredible. The only this was the food was okay. The portions are small. I ordered the shrimp and that was delicious. The bacon wrapped scallops were a bit dry but the kale with that dish was lemony and delicious. The cocktails were fun and delicious. It was really the portions and how some of the dishes were just average. But the space is really nice and sleek.

Hidden gem that I was glad to discover last minute. Good cocktails and very tasty, varied selection of small plates. Have definitely seen enough on the menu to need to come back a few more times to try the other items. Great vibe and ambiance. Friendly staff.

The menu was great so many choices can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. Service was quick and attentive. The prices are a bit high but the size of the plates is well enough for three people and the quality made it worth it. Great for a night out with friends or a special night out with your someone.

My absolute favourite space to host private events in Seattle! The food is so delicious, service is on another level, and the location is perfect. Be sure to give their cider ane curated cocktails a try!

The large windows in the entrance area reminded us of Edward Hopper’s Night Owls. And let us see the cozy lit bar from outside. So: come in spontaneously and grab a seat at the bar. A friendly barman recommends one of five beers on tap. If you're feeling a little hungry, there's a delicious pizza bread with gorgonzola, pears and confit onions. Perfect start to a beautiful evening!

Everything about this place was amazing. The empoyees were so friendly and catering, the food and drinks were great, and the atmosphere felt very intimate and laid back. Would recommend for a nice date night or a nice outting with friends.

Cocktails 2/5. Paid 21 bucks for an overly sweet bourbon concoction. Had high hopes based on menus online but whoever runs cocktails must have left. Food was decent but I was unimpressed, and for that price per unit food I expect to be at least mildly impressed. Service was great though, and the minimalist decor beats the aggressively chic ostentation of other trendy-but-unimpressive haunts in the area.Diners who are broadly satisfied with the food scene in downtown Seattle should definitely eat here, as it's decidedly superior to the likes of Some Random Bar for example, but with food, drinks, and prices so severely inferior to unpretentious but gustatorily excellent Vindictive a few blocks down, I cannot in good conscience leave four stars. Would rate 3.5 if possible.

I had a great experience at Black Bottle. The staff made us feel at home. The ambience is perfect for a date night. They have many unique vegetarian options, over a wide variety of cuisines. Everything we ordered was either good or great, and reminiscent of quality homemade food. All the dishes were vegetable heavy, as is visible in the pictures. The best part is the quantities are substantial for the price, given the atmosphere. I will be back to try their other dishes! Suggestion: go lighter on the sweetener in the Chole Bhatura.

Fun corner restaurant in Belltown with a rotating menu of fantastic options. Plates are sharable, so it is easy to pick from a bunch of options to split around a group. Reservations help offset any wait!

Plenty of things to like about this place. The atmosphere, for one. It feels open yet intimate - even though we came on a busy night, it wasn't too loud to have a conversation. I like the modern furniture and clean decor as well.Service was a good mix of being attentive yet hands off - we were much more leisurely than we would usually be as we were waiting for a show at another venue, but we didn't feel rushed at all. Food came very quickly as did the drinks.About that - the reason this review is three stars (really; probably 3.5) is that we didn't feel the food really worked together very well. The halloumi dish, for example, seemed like two different dishes - the dates and halloumi on top of an onion and pepper and mushroom mix that felt like something that should go on a Philly cheesesteak. Neither component was bad but they didn't make sense together. We also had the chicken and cherry and fontina flat bread, which was good flavor wise but the flat bread was too thick and hard to really take easy bites. The cocktails, on the other hand, were fun and creative - I especially appreciated that not every cocktail was a whiskey base like many craft cocktail bars seem to do. I liked the wine by the glass list as well.Price point was typical for the area. And the bread pudding was good!
