Like others have shared, there are two very important things you MUST do if you are going to order from BluDot: First, do not order via the website - go into the store and see the quality of the items for yourself. Secondly, make sure you have a relationship with the people in the store because chances are, you are going to need help fixing something on your order. We ordered a total of 6 items from BluDot. We paid for the white glove delivery. The delivery team (handled by Ryder Last Mile delivery services) LITERALLY dropped the cartons containing our items off the back of their truck rather than take the time to use their liftgate. When I commented on this, they said "this is how we always do it - the items are well packed, and this saves us time." Well, OK - when we received the items inside our home, two of the items were damaged (a dresser, and a wall cabinet), very obviously from being dropped on a corner. They caused the items to be "racked" out of square, with dented corners and busted up drawers. You can't repair "dents" in the wood furniture. Having a separate company who doesn't seem to care about the product they are delivering shows clearly in the amount of damage we had. Think Ace Ventura in Pet Detective.Well 5 weeks later we are trying to coordinate the delivery of the replacements, and you are requested to use the Ryder Website and Ryder customer care team. THEY ARE AWFUL. Their systems are really bad. I waited on hold for over 48 minutes and couldn't leave a message or use their "dial 1 to be called back" function - neither worked.Thankfully the people at the store have been nice and responsive, stepping in to help.Overall 3 Star Rating: 5 Stars for the Store Staff Service, 4 Stars for the Product Quality, and 1 star for Delivery services.

After hearing great things about Blu Dot's elegant designs and high quality products, my husband and I bought Blu Dot Sunday L Sectional Sofa. We expected the sofa to be at the very least high quality that would last some time. However, after 7 months of use, it is very disappointing that the sofa is not even living up to our expectations. This sofa is not durable. It has major design defects/flaws and is becoming terribly impractical and unreasonably dangerous for lounging and watching TV as it has become impossible without having the worst ergonomics possible. Just point out a few things:- The sofa is too low and very deep. We have extended screws on the sofa legs to boost its height by a quarter inch and now some of screws are starting to fail.- The back support is almost non-existent so that we cannot sit back comfortably without our necks getting sore. The wooden backing is too low so that the cushions get sometimes pushed over.- Seat cushions and back cushions are prematurely sagging and deforming so that they do not support our backs while sitting. The way cushions are degrading and deforming within a matter of months is alarming. Also, the fact that It is showing signs of wear and warping within 7 months is unacceptable from a brand like Blue Dot.- Immediately upon the delivery, the sofa started to shed feathers through the outer fabric layer. The feathers are coming through the inner inserts and then poking through the outer upholstery. In 7 months of use, this problem keeps getting more pronounced. The stalks of the feathers come through are prickly and is uncomfortable to sit. Although this is expected with a down feather sofa, I don't have this problem with our down comforters or my Pottery Barn's down feather sofa. It seems like a material flaw with the covers on the cushion inserts.

I didn’t buy any furniture but the lady there was soooo cool and recommended my friends and I some great spots to check out in the city! — we did and loved them.

Be cautious about what you are buying - absolutely DO NOT buy off their web site. Go into to the store and see what you are getting (and the lack of quality). I purchased overpriced bar stools that are basically an art project with very little instructions. They can send you a link to people building it, but it's still going to match what the instructions on the box tell you to do.

UPDATEI returned the product and received full refund. The process was very smooth. The store is inviting and staffs are quite helpful. My only complaint is about the product quality. The branch table looks really nice in the store, but the one I got is with lots of black spot both on the top and on the side of the table, which makes it look very dirty. It also has a much stronger chemical smell than the other furnitures I bought.

We stopped by during a stroll in Pike/Pine and were received attentively (I wouldn't really say warmly, but this isn't a corner coffee shop either). The staff was helpful and professional, we had a good experience. And it was such a pleasure to even just look at these beautiful furniture.

I've bought several pieces of furniture from here in the last six months: chairs, coat stand, and counter stools. The products are great quality and well built. But the thing that will keep me coming back is the way they treat their customers. Sarah has been amazing! She always returns my emails and calls in a timely manner. I'm a project manager, so efficiency and quality control are important to me. Thanks!

I recently had the pleasure of working with design salesman Brent Rodriguez. From start to finish he was efficient and kept me in the loop regarding the status of the order, shipment and delivery of my sofa. The sofa arrived on time, in perfect condition, and he had to work around the Thanksgiving holidays to make it happen. Well done, Blu Dot. If you are in the market for comfy, edgy, modern furniture - do yourself a favor and checkout this company. You will be happy you did.

Nice modern furniture store with good quality and decent price points. The store is relatively large for being located in the city and felt spacious inside with room to walk around. It's mainly furniture with some accessories like mirrors or lamps. I saw a few things I liked and the price points were similar to West Elm. The staff weren't very attentive while we visited. Also, I would have liked to see more accessories. Nice furniture store though - I recommend checking it out!

Beware their shipping charges. Currently it's 7% of item's value only for curbside delivery. Getting the items into your home is another $149. I think the percentage fee is a borderline scam.

I love this store for a number of reasons. First is their design. It's classy and functional with clean lines and a rich, warm aesthetic. Blu Dot designs its own furniture. Not only that, they manufacture it here in the United States. For those concerned about labor rights and the environment (count me in), this makes a significant difference. Another thing I really appreciate about Blu Dot is their customer service. There was a problem with one of my orders, and boy did they go out of their way to set things straight. Last and most important is their fantastic selection and the quality of their products--which now quite happily occupy three of the rooms in my house. Stop by their showroom to take a look, and don't hesitate to ask for their recommendations. They've made some great ones to me.
