Good tasting coffee just a long line, mediocre service ( they didn’t ask if I wanted room or anything in a drip). Also acted like I was dumb when I didn’t understand the breakfast sandwiches were in the fridge which also essentially made me lose a spot in line. Well the breakfast sandwich sucked anyway so pretty lame .

They've forgotten to make my drinks 4 times in a row. After the third time, I sent an email to the management to alert them that their drink order system isn't working. This afternoon was the 4th time the barista simply did not make my drink. When I asked the barista what kind of ticket system Broadcast had, so they could keep track of drinks, she said that sometimes things got crazy when it got busy, and there was no system. Management: You have a problem.

Consistently top tier coffee, among the best in Seattle for the 6 years I’ve lived here. Known for fruity light roasts, vibrant espresso, and flavorful drip. Remains my go-to spot for beans.

Quaint coffee shop in the center of Roosevelt. I enjoyed my morning here and all the staff were very kind and knowledgeable. We ordered two of the three fall seasonal drinks: the Canadian tuxedo latte and the honey badger latte. They're both very unique drinks, although personally I am not a fan of either flavor. My friend enjoyed his spicy badger though. We also ordered a shallot Gruyère pastry which was delicious and the perfect savory for our sweet lattes. The staff told us all the pastries are made in house in collaboration with temple pastries. There is ample seating, lighting, outlets, free wifi, and a clean and large single stall bathroom. Street parking only but you could theoretically park in the Whole Foods and Bartell Drugs structure nearby. I couldn't give it a 5 because the Canadian tuxedo latte I ordered was just too reminiscent of ham, and I did not enjoy liquified ham. I'll have to come by and try their regular signature drinks though.

Stopped in while friends were shopping. The place was hopping with a large number of soccer fans getting coffee and pastries before heading across the street to a bar to watch a match. Despite the rush the staff was efficiently getting the orders out with minimal wait times. My latte was excellent and I also had a cinnamon cruffin. The cruffin was fresh and light with a custard filling.I had hoped to get a breakfast sandwich and did not see them until I was leaving and saw them in a refrigerated case that included other cold drinks etc. My fault. There are a lot of tables and a couple of counters so that even with the crush of business there was seating available. Staff was cheery but focused and busy. The restroom was spotless.Overall a place I would be happy to visit again.Parking: It’s the University district. Parking is a pain.

Been intermittently getting coffee here for years.Great coffee, smooth and flavorful.Staff was never "friendly" but last couple years they have gotten downright rude especially the last several months. One of the reasons I stopped going. As someone who works and has worked customer service for 18 years this is not acceptable. Yes, I have regulars I do not care for, but they still get quality service in an environment where I do not make tips.I do not want to make accusations that I cannot PROVE, but they certainly show more enthusiasm to certain racial groups than others. You will be lucky if they acknowledge you or even call out that your drink is ready. Just look up at you once they meander over to the register and perhaps they will speak to on another, but not you (The Customer). Not leaving a tip is totally acceptable if they can barely be bothered to look at the people keeping them open.

Broadcast Coffee is a hidden gem that might escape your notice, but it's undoubtedly one of the top choices in the Roosevelt neighborhood. They offer a wonderful variety of coffee beans, though it might lean towards the pricier side. Nevertheless, the quality you receive is well worth the investment.

Hadn’t been here in a few years and got a large golden milk. It was made hastily and was lukewarm. It also seemed to only contain milk and a bit of turmeric; a little bland. Had to go home and heat it up; server didn’t seem in the mood for being told that the drink was cold. Six dollars, seven dollars with tip. No thank you. Can’t speak to the other drinks here, but not inclined to go back.

Employees are hostile and create a volatile environment. My friend and I were enjoying a cup of tea quietly, when the manager and an employee decided to accost us unprovoked, the employee getting so hostile they grabbed my friend's personal belongings and initiated a physical confrontation, even following us out of the establishment and threatening us with physical violence.I understand that I'm a high profile individual due to a criminal case of a political nature that took place 4 years ago, but I left that stuff behind 3 years ago and actively work in the conmunity to prevent others from making the same mistakes I did, counseling youth at-risk of radicalization and staging interventions with certain non-profits to help stop the rise of political extremism. I've worked hard in this community to make a difference, and have happily lived a quiet life with my boyfriend since. So I pose a question: if an employee of this establishment can arbitrarily decide (based off of outdated information and ignorance of current circumstances) that I'm worthy of violent confrontation and threats of violence to not just myself but also my uninvolved friend, while he's on the clock, and be allowed to get away with it free of consequence, is anyone truly safe coming to this café? Where political opinions (of the distant past) warrant physical unprovoked violence? Dine at your own risk.

The matcha latte is the stuff of my dreams. So smooth and creamy and not too sweet. Love the breakfast tacos too.

Felt the drinks were of good value and did not get nickle/dimed on changing to oat milk or adding extra shots. That makes a difference when its .75 here and .90 there. My drink taste was spot on what I expected.Fortunately caught them not long after opening on most days so I was able to get in and out. Will be frequent customer when in the area.
