Thank you Rene! I rarely leave a hair salon happy, and Rene did such an amazing job, I will definitely be returning. I had no idea what I needed done, and Rene talked me through all my options and we came up with a long term plan to get the desired results.

So happy I found Apres and Kayla! Consistently super satisfied with my cuts and color/highlight/balayage services (and I admit I think I tend to be picky with my hair!) and have never gotten so many compliments on my hair since seeing her. Clean, relaxing, beautiful space in a great location. Have only chatted with Renee in passing but she is lovely too! Thanks guys!

Rene is literally a HAIR GURU! I’ve been following her for the past 8+ years and she has done AMAZING things for my hair. The color & cut is always on point, she’s sooo patient with my pickiness & genuinely cares for my hair health. I came to her with fried hair wanting to get it colored and she kept it real with me and had me wait for the sake of my hair health. Other places would just willingly keep dying my hair even if it meant causing more breakage. She doesn’t just do services for the $ she truly cares about your hair & wants what’s best for it. She is incredibly skilled and whether I want to go dark, light, blonde, bronde, ash golden blonde she always delivers and I can’t recommend her enough! Also her keratin treatments have done wonders for my hair. She’s also so charismatic, sweet, wise and easy to talk to so the time goes by so fast (I call our appts hair + therapy sessions) Don’t look any further - she’s your girl!!

I've been going to Rene for about 8 years now and she is the best! She is an extremely skilled colorist, I always trust her. The salon is spotlessly clean, great decor and always a fun, relaxing experience! 10/10!!

Kayla is amazing!! She listened and asked helpful questions. Haircut came out exactly like I wanted, as did the color. I got blonde balayage highlights that look incredibly natural and fun. My hair is thick and coarse. She knew just what to do and the conversation was great. I'll definitely be making Kayla my go-to from here on out. Highly recommend!

This is my third time now booking with Kayla and I finally think I have officially found a stylist I will keep coming back to! She is very helpful and patient when you don’t exactly know how to explain what you want but instead just show pictures and carefully explains the coloring process which has been so helpful! She used her expertise to help fill in the gaps of what I was asking for. She totally nailed my sombre and the cut I got from her previously is growing out beautifully. I have thick, coarse curly and wavey hair which can be hard to deal with and style, so I always love when I leave the salon with a perfect blowout. I’ve been getting my hair done with Kayla for around a year and a half and I Love it!!!! I get Keratin treatments every 6 months. LIFE CHANGER!!! Especially living in Seattle! My hair is smooth, healthy and SO EASY to style! 10/10!!!

Got my haircut by Kayla and I love it. She took all the time I needed to talk me through the process and help me decide on the subtleties of the style I was after. My hair is ultrafine and can sometimes be a challenge for hairdressers. I rarely get my haircut for this reason alone. Kayla has a great intuitive sense, coupled with the ability to listen to my concerns and respectfully put all of my worries to ease. I couldn't be more pleased with the haircut.

I'm not surprised that Rene opened this West Seattle location recently and is already booked out 1.5 months. She really knows her stuff, gives great hair advice and is a phenomenal conversationalist. I have such a girl crush on her!!!

I am so happy that West Seattle has such a fabulous hair salon! I have been seeing Rene since I moved to West Seattle and have been so happy with all of my haircuts and bang trims. Rene is such a kind person and really listens to figure out the best cuts for her clients. She also remembers every time that I've been in and what our long term goal is for my hair. I can’t say enough good things about this place! I moved to Seattle last year and walked by the salon. I’ve been seeing Rene ever since and will never go anywhere else. Rene did a fantastic job fixing a bad cut from a different salon. She listened to what I was looking for and delivered exactly what we agreed on. The salon space itself was very soothing and Rene made the whole experience fly by, stress free. She is great at her craft and creates a wonderful environment for her clients. After years of bouncing around to different stylists unsatisfied, I'll be sticking with Opal x Iris.
