Had an amazing experience at this location. My brother worked for a competitor for a number of years so I know how rough the car rental industry can be. The gentleman that, as far as I could tell single-handedly runs this place was friendly, efficient, accommodating and helpful. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Seattle.

Waited almost an hour to pickup my car on Labor Day week-end. The place overbooked somehow so you were lucky to get what you asked for. We luckily got an SUV. However, it was not that clean. There was candy and stuff between the seats and on the floors. The exterior looked like it hasn’t been washed. My biggest complaint and why I’m giving this one star is because of the fuel charges. We received the car on full and brought it back on full. Our price was to be $83 and a few days later noticed the charge was for $116. We called budget and they said that the extra $33 was for fuel which is asinine because 1. We brought it back on full and 2. The sign in the place says if they have to refuel it’ll be $9 and some change so it shouldn’t have been more than $20 if I hadn’t brought it back on full. The lady I spoke to said that when we got the car it had 15 gallons and we brought it back at 13 something. I didn’t know you could figure out the exact amount of fuel that’s in the fuel tank. I’d love to see how that’s possible. I’ve rented so many cars before and I have never ever had this problem. I always fuel it back up to full and I have never seen a place tell you the exact amount of gallons in the fuel tank. From now on I will be taking pictures of the fuel gauge when I return a car as proof along with my credit card statement for the fuel.

Picked up Chevy Malibu in downtown. Took her to Portland, then Vancouver. Quite a new car (had only done 3k miles) and she served us well. Pick up and drop off both very efficient. Would use again.

Pretty disappointing experience, overall. Nobody was in the office when we arrived and had to wait up.Car came with scratches and the person did not even bother to come upstairs with us to check it as we had purchased full insurance.We were also eligible for a free upgrade and he just said “this is your free upgrade” to the car we had initially rented “as I’m short of 5 cars today”. The parking was half full though and when we checked online there were many other cars up for rent.No customer service or consideration. Sorry, not coming back here, that’s a given.At least service was quick.

Beware of fraud! Extremely frustrating experience with Budget at this location. Returned a Toyota 4Runner on June 28 which I have picked up at their LAX location on June 5. Tank regulation full / full. Picked the truck up with tank 7/8 full. LAX location told me to simply return the vehicle with the tank 7/8 full. I however returned the car completely filled up which was fine for me. No mention of any additional charges when I returned the car. Several days later I received their invoice over $55 (!) of fuel charges!!! This is totally inacceptable and to me looks like fraud!

I had a contract altered at this location. The attendant was polite, quick, and even explained steps to reduce rental costs in the future when flying. The location is a little difficult to navigate around but it's Seattle, all the businesses are like that in downtown areas.

Budget, a sincere suggestion is to close this branch until you hire people with better customer service skills or provide a training course for the associates. Your associate was very rude and non apologetic nor empathetic to your customers. They were irrational and frankly their logic was way off. What is the standard you hold your new hires to? I feel sorry that Budget which was a household name has come to this… maybe it’s time to throw in the towel like you did in your 2002 bankruptcy? @Avis car rental hope you are listening!!

Rented a car for 51.00 a day, returned it 24 hours later and was charged 124.00. Not to mention the front desk agent was incredibly rude acting like he did me a favor for not charging me an extra $39 when I was on time. Rent cars often and never have had one this expensive with such unhelpful service.

On October 2nd I was scheduled to pick up a rental car at noon but I arrived early and they were really busy and I checked in at 11:53 am and everything went smoothly. As far as checking out I remember that day so well because I was very irritated that I couldn't find my way out of their basement because getting the rental car the person who checked me in showed me doors and stairs where to get the rental car and there were workers as well who also helped me. But when returning the car the basement is so narrow I was having a hard time parking and I couldn't find the exit how to get out after parking the car and there were no workers at that time to help me. So finally when I found an exit I told the person who was checking me out how I was having trouble leaving the basement and he kind of giggled and check me out. Nothing else's was said and he gave me my receipt and I saw on my receipt 0.00 balance due so I thought everything was fine. And than I found out he charged a whole hour extra 62.50!!!! Crazy place don't go there

Dude made it clear he only was wearing a mask because he had to. Ended up waiting an hour in the cold because budget corporate and this office had a miscommunication. When I reentered, knowing full well I had an immunocompromised family member (I had felt awkward about asking someone to put on a mask before when it was obvious his beard made it uncomfortable), same guy refused to wear a mask until he was helping specifically me; so I had to wait outside in the cold for an additional ten minutes while he helped someone else, only then did he put on a mask. The only good part of this is that Budget corporate refunded me some of the fees accrued through miscommunication. Will never go here again.

Horrific experience. The car was parked in a dark corner of a narrow parking lot, and we had to pull it out to be able to inspect it. The moment we did, we saw a massive scratch on the rear door on the driver side. Called the folks from the store, and they were EXTREMELY rude, called us names, repeated yelled "YOU LIARS" at us. We had no reason to lie to them as we have comprehensive insurance. Very stressful experience. Will never go back to this location for sure - may never rent from Budget unless there's no other choice.

We were able to get a car on short notice when we made a mistake on our scheduling, did realize someone had messed the car up somehow when driving previously until after we left the location. I may change my rating depending on if we get charged for it.

Great service and the car was in great shape. Always felt confident. They clean the car after each use. Harry and Brenton made the process so easy! Really glad I was able to rent here - thank you!!
