Bulldog News & Café has a new indoor café seating area with comfortable bench seating, great lighting, soft music, outlets and wifi. The café offers fast espresso, fresh baked goods and locally‑made ice cream as refreshments. Magazines are back and browsing hours are Mon‑Sat from 12pm‑5pm. A decaf americano is described as one of the best and the staff are kindest. The menu includes a nice almond croissant at a reasonable price, an iced huckleberry mocha latte that is super delicious and not too sweet, and fresh squeezed lemonade with half the pumps of simple syrup. The ambiance is lovely, with introvert vibes and a set up like a library where magazines stacked the walls. The staff are kind and the selection of food, beverages, magazines and periodicals from all over the world is varied.
Super comfortable venue to hold meetings and hang out; the no-phones table is a great idea. Love their ice cream and baked goods (literally just housed an apple turnover), the danishes/turnovers are especially super soft and buttery

Bulldog News is a great place to be in community. Amalgam, a fantastic jazz group, plays here regularly, and they are a must-see if you are around on a night that they are playing.

I got a hot latte, but the flavor was a bit on the lighter side and lacked a rich coffee aroma. It also wasn’t very energizing. The price is fair, though the drink itself was somewhat underwhelming.
