Awful customer service. Received card, activated it, used it once and promptly lost it. Called in with secondary account, reference number etc but because I had no card they wouldn't help me. Now 3 months past due because they won't give me the account number to pay it. Wasted hours on 6 calls before they finally said they wouldn't send a card because of non payment. I CAN'T PAY WITHOUT ACCOUNT NUMBER!!! Canadian Tire is much better financial option.

You would think Capital One would fire all of their absolutely incompetent inefficient rude Customer Service Staff and replace them with new fully trained efficient CS staff that give a hoot about their customers, that can speak understandable english, that won't speak lies and most importantly will follow through with what they say they will do to make things right for us in much less time than 6 months to a year! Put the new staff in their own office, where there isn't excessive background noise of what sounds like hundreds of other CS Staff on their phones talking to customers while taking thousands of customer complaints at the same time, and this making it absolutely impossible for us, their valuable Customers to hear anything our CS Employee is saying to us. If Capital One wouldn't have taken over Kohls credit and forced us to have to deal with them, I would never have chosen them for a bank or credit card after seeing that they barely have a 2 Stars rating! Don't go to this Bank as they are just greedy and out for themselves! They do not care about their customers and it shows, read their reviews.

Worst bank on the planet! They blocked my acc and ultimately cannot get access to my paycheck for 2 weeks. Anyone thinking about opening an account with these folks. DON’T.

Worst Credit card ever. I have to cancel because they overcharge interest. I called customer service and they told me it's a "valid " charge ask if you can waive $125 after paid over 4,000$ interest. They still denied.
I close the account.

Paid within 5 days of my statement, 3 - 5 times the minimum for over 3 years but this company doesn't care AT ALL about you.
The sales jargon is all BS.
Although my statement said I had $3000 of remaining credit, they arbitrarily cancelled my card. Had to leave groceries in the store.
So embarrassing. 🤬

Actually just kinda done with capital one lol. Debit card switch and 1 payment bounces and they close both of my accounts with no notice. ✌️

Wouldn’t recommend this credit card company. They locked my card due to Facebook ads and after calling them and letting them know it was me and not fraud, they still cancelled my card number even though i asked Them not too! I wont be using the new card they send me and will be shutting down my account.

They put a hold for 5 days on an active account as soon as I put a large sum into it (all my available funds) leaving me stranded in the process, and the customer service told me consistently there was 0 they could do. There was 0 warning there would or could be a week long hold on my funds, and no care or help getting it resolved. Customer service was apathetic and uninterested in my problems. Really terrible service. Look elsewhere.

Never do a wire transfer using Capital One. They are the slowest to complete a wire transfer and their website is misleading… when it says the funds will make it ‘next business day’ they mean at the end of it.
I’ve made two wire transfers from Capital One and Morgan Stanley at the exact same time: MS funds reached the destination within hours, the Capital One funds are yet to arrive and it’s been more than 24hrs since I submitted the wire. You call their customer service and they can only recite back the info they purposely hide from their website.
